The Painter and the Canvas: A New Beginning After her vibrant masterpiece earned her fame in the village, Elara felt an unexpected emptiness. One day, she noticed a group of children struggling to paint on a blank canvas. Inspired by their frustration, she asked to join them. “Let’s paint from our hearts!” she said, and together they began. Elara led with a swirl of color, encouraging the children to express their feelings. They added symbols of hope, friendship, and dreams, transforming the canvas into a beautiful mosaic of their collective stories. As the village gathered to admire the masterpiece, Elara felt a renewed purpose. She realized creativity was not just individual expression but a way to foster community. She organized regular painting sessions, turning the village square into a vibrant space filled with murals, deepening connections among neighbors. Life lesson: Elara’s journey shows that creativity flourishes through emotional connection and collaboration. By encouraging shared expression, we build a supportive environment where everyone feels valued, leading to collective success. Tools like InterlinkIQ can enhance this collaboration, fostering positivity and inspiration. #CreativeConnections #CollaborateAndInspire #ArtOfTeamwork #EmotionalExpression #TogetherWeCreate #ValueInCollaboration #InterlinkCreativity #EmpowerThroughArt #CommunityCreativity #InspireAndConnect

beautiful and inspiring. Art is a universal expression.
Today, in our co-op community, we honor Juneteenth and encourage our teams to foster discussions that promote unity and share the significance of this day of recognition. In celebration, we collaborated with Stephanie Singleton (@stephaniesing), an illustrator based in Toronto, Ontario, to create a commemorative poster. Stephanie's artwork integrates decorative elements that narrate diverse stories. This illustration showcases flowers rooted in her family's heritage, symbolizing gratitude for the freedom to explore and honoring the foundations laid by her ancestors. We invite you to reflect upon and appreciate this beautiful artwork with us. #REIbelong #REIemployee #BetterTogether

-- Using Graffiti Art to Transform and Empower Neighborhoods -- Murals have the power to not only beautify spaces but also build community trust. Ten years ago, we worked with the amazing artist Noah Neighbor to paint a mural on this wall, only to see it repeatedly tagged by the same individuals. Instead of seeing this as a setback, we saw an opportunity. Beautify Earth collaborated with well-known graffiti artists (Marcel Blanco, Crade, & Bank) - to reimagine the wall—this time incorporating the graffiti style. The result? A vibrant piece that embodies the spirit of graffiti while adding artistic value to the original piece. The mural had never been vandalized again. Many years later, new construction obstructed visibilty the piece, but it had a great life for many years, and became one of the most meaningful pieces for me personally. This project was a powerful lesson: when you embrace and uplift the art forms rooted in the community, you create a shared sense of ownership and pride. What was once a target for vandalism became a symbol of expression and belonging. Here’s to the power of creativity, collaboration, and the role art can play in enhancing neighborhoods. #CommunityArt #Graffiti #PublicArt #UrbanTransformation #MuralArt Pico Improvement Organization - Santa Monica Business Improvement District (BID)

We have all experienced these moments in life, whether private but also professional, where we have the impression of being in an “in-between” but where we do not really know where we fit into this in-between. In her conversation with Mary Alice Arthur , Heather Plett helps us better understand the nature of these liminal spaces, these “in-between” spaces. PRACTICE CREATIVE CURATION 🎨 Home is where we nurture our hearts and create memories that anchor us in God’s goodness. Imagine taking a moment today to look around your family room and decide to transform it—not by buying something new, but by curating what you already have. You swap out generic decor for photos and meaningful mementos that remind you of God’s faithfulness in your journey. Suddenly, your space tells a story—your story—one of grace, growth, and His unwavering presence. This is what Creative Curation looks like: intentionally designing your environment to reflect the beauty and truth of your life’s unique journey. It’s about making choices that shift your surroundings from generic to meaningful, from imitation to originality. How can you creatively curate a space today to tell more of your story? Share your ideas - I’d love to see how you’re making your space uniquely yours! BE PRESENT. CHOOSE COURAGE. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐨𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐧 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐡 presents a vivid landscape, rich in color and texture, evoking a feeling of both nostalgia and wonder. The interplay of light and shadow, the soft purple hues of the stairway, and the lush greenery may stir a sense of tranquility and the beauty of nature's palette. This piece could inspire contemplation about the journey of life, the paths you choose, and the natural progression of growth and change. The ascending staircase might represent personal growth and the climb towards higher self-understanding. As you appreciate the art, you can reflect on your own path, the vibrancy of your experiences, and the continuous evolution of your being. This form of art appreciation allows for a nurturing pause, a moment to honor your own journey through the symbolic representation in the painting. #selfcaretips #selfhelp #selfcarethreads #lifebydesign #selfcaresunday #taketimeforyou #youtime #grounding #selfempowerment #bemindful #mentalwellbeing #breathwork #takeyourtime #taketimeforyou #maketimeforyou #selfcareobsessed #mentalcare #selfcarefam #selfcareclub #selfhealth #selfcarehelp #selfcarejourney #selflovetribe #selfcarechallenge #prioritizeyourself #lookafteryou #radicalselfcare #careforyouirself #selfkindless #selflovemovement
