Its raining outside, Im cosy and warm working from home completing some tasks as I go about my daily activities. I was reflecting on the goodness and joy a dog makes, especially an Oaktree Pups Schnoodle. 🐾 Our pups are a constant companion, always available and showing love and affection- making our day so much more enriching. 💗 There are awesome benefits of owning a dog- especially a Schnoodle, as they are different to any other breeds we’ve had in the past. We actually have six pooches- 4 Schnauzers and 2 Schnoodles. The typical Schnauzer will be in the room with you and will come to you on their terms, however a Schnoodle pup emotionally reads you and will be near you or touching you. They are emotionally in tune and are fantastic in times of stress or feeling flat. 😔 Schnoodles are affectionate, intelligent, adaptive, playful, hypoallergenic and clean. They can be easily trained to join you in the workplace or at home in the office. 🐶 Some benefits are: Reduces Stress 😫: Having a pup nearby can lower stress levels, creating a calmer and more relaxed work environment and increasing your productivity. Boosts Morale: Dogs bring joy and positivity, improving team spirits and fostering a happier workplace. Encourages Breaks🌿 : Taking your Schnoodle for short walks or playtime promotes regular breaks, enhancing focus and output. Strengthens Team Bonds🙌🏼 : Pups are natural conversation starters, encouraging interaction and building stronger relationships among coworkers. Day 101 - Today seemed like a perfect day to talk about how this company had a #policy that allowed #dogs in the #office (because 101 makes me think of the The Walt Disney Company's "101 Dalmatians"). Many people would occasionally bring their dogs to #work. No one in my #department but still. We normally had no problems with the dogs. For that matter they were a welcome addition to the office most days. This was however my first #dogfriendly office and I had a lot to learn about the potential pitfalls of this seemingly benign choice to allow us to have #caninecoworkers. The first lesson I learned was that no matter how often someone walks their dog they will eventually urinate or defecate on the floor, which in our case was carpet so it was not easy to clean up the mess. It also meant that the smell would stick around longer than you'd have preferred in either case. The second lesson was that no matter how cool a dog seems you have to be wary of both its' bark, some dogs cannot be stopped once they get started (this was a real problem at times) and its' bite (thankfully no one ever got bit).
