Trust me, don’t just stick to what’s familiar! 2️⃣ SMU is All About Community The people here are incredibly welcoming, and there are so many ways to get involved! From student clubs to casual events, every interaction has the potential to turn into a friendship or a learning moment. 3️⃣ Be Organized, But Stay Flexible Yes, keeping track of assignments and classes is important, but don’t forget to leave space for the unexpected. Some of the best moments come when you say “yes” to things you hadn’t planned—whether it’s a spontaneous trip or exploring a new hobby. Embrace it all and make the most of your time here.
