As we conclude another summer semester, it's crucial to recognize the profound impact of educators on our professional landscape. Teachers are the architects of our future workforce, instilling not just knowledge, but critical thinking, resilience, and innovation in their students. Their tireless efforts, often extending far beyond classroom hours, shape the next generation of leaders, entrepreneurs, and innovators. Let's take a moment to appreciate these unsung heroes of our economy. Their dedication to continuous learning and adaptation, especially in our rapidly evolving digital age, is truly commendable. How has a teacher influenced your career path or professional skills? Share your experiences and let's celebrate the educators who have made a difference in our professional lives.

High school students are our future leaders. And they are more stressed than ever with a ridiculous amount to decipher in a world that celebrates careers based on things other than alignment to strengths and interests. Figuring out how to plan for their careers can be overwhelming, and understanding the importance of those soft skills is an area not often emphasized enough. After months of discussions and a lot of interaction with early career professionals over the past 10 months, we need to go upstream further to help support kids earlier in their process. ➡️Communication needs to improve. ➡️Emotional intelligence needs work. ➡️Feeling overwhelmed is more common than ever. ➡️Professionalism is shifting but that doesn't mean overly casual. ➡️Understanding where they are strong is often not even discussed. ➡️Appreciating the importance (and permanence) of their personal brand is lacking. To support our future leaders, I'm launching a career coaching program for students that will open only twice a year - Fall & Spring. The first informational call for this program will be tonight at 7pm EST. If you're the parent or guardian of a high school junior or senior and you'd like to learn more, join us tonight for the call! (there will be another call in July - the program launches in October) Link in the comments and you're invited!

We asked Zionna Marshall -> what advice would you give to future Prelude high school interns? She explained how her manager, Laura Pomeroy, helped her overcome the pressure of perfectionism. "Laura imparted on me that making mistakes and stepping out of your comfort zone are not just expected, but are also essential."
