Let's talk about Agentic AI and it's application to meet compliance requirements. Next week, join us [virtually] on Wednesday, November 27th for an informative and demonstrative webinar led by Farhad Davaripour, Ph.D. and Mike Morley! In this session, we’ll introduce a powerful integration: Finite Element Analysis (FEA) using Abaqus, building on the foundation laid by the design agent discussed in the previous webinar. We will explore how FEA, when combined with Agentic AI, can enhance engineering simulation workflows across AEC, energy, and environmental sectors. Through this integration, Agentic AI optimizes design processes by automating repetitive tasks, dynamically adapting workflows with real-time data, and minimizing manual intervention, resulting in more efficient, accurate simulations that keep pace with evolving regulatory standards. This integrated approach accelerates project timelines while maintaining the precision necessary to meet rigorous compliance requirements. To register: https://hubs.ly/Q02YVQmj0

In the 1980s, the engineering landscape transformed as hand-drawn designs gave way to Computer-Aided Design (CAD) systems. During this pivotal era, I began my career in the mining industry, utilizing emerging 3D modeling capabilities offered by platforms like AutoCAD. We developed tools that empowered mining operations to create and maintain their own 3D models, serving as vital inputs for analyses such as blast assessments, ventilation simulations, and rock mass behavior studies. This advancement significantly accelerated engineers' and geologists' ability to make informed decisions regarding mine design. Today, we stand on the brink of another revolution with the advent of Agentic AI. These AI agents are designed to enhance engineering design and simulation systems by automating repetitive tasks, dynamically adapting workflows with real-time data, and minimizing manual intervention. By integrating Agentic AI with tools like Finite Element Analysis (FEA) using Abaqus, we can optimize design processes, resulting in more efficient and accurate simulations that keep pace with evolving regulatory standards. This integrated approach accelerates project timelines while maintaining the precision necessary to meet rigorous compliance requirements. Farhad Davaripour, Ph.D. will provide an illustration of how Agentic AI can reduce the need for manual workflows often associated with assembling data from disparate design systems, thereby accelerating the time to insight and enabling more informed decision-making in engineering design and simulation. Details below:

But wait! There's more - on the engineering/applied side! During my university days, 3D modeling and visualization tools transformed how we approached complex system designs. At the same time, computational analysis methods like Finite Element Analysis (FEA) enabled engineers to analyze and optimize these designs in groundbreaking ways. Yet, the process of transitioning between design models and analysis was complex, often requiring specialized programming skills. While strides have been made with more integrated design systems, the challenge of connecting various computational and design analysis methods has only grown. Agentic AI may offer a solution by introducing a flexible, adaptive approach. In this session, we’ll explore how leveraging AI agents trained to operate engineering FEA tools can streamline and accelerate the iterative loop between design and analysis. Details below:
