We’re so grateful to have you! Here’s to many more years together! 🧡 We asked Kathryn to share a few fun facts about herself, and here is what she had to say. Today marks TWO years at Indeed. Time flies. To say I had no idea what I was getting into when I started would be an understatement. The question I get asked most is “are you happier now than you were at prior jobs?” Yes. I know this is the right place for me and I know this is the team I am supposed to be a part of. Some words of wisdom from someone closing in on 40: 1. Take the chance. Take every interview that is offered. This path started with a quick message from Caleb Ayers. I knew within minutes I wanted to pursue it. 2. Embrace interviewing. It’s not easy, and you’ll sweat a lot. Don’t try to be perfect. Nobody is. 4. Embrace your peers. I have never been surrounded by people who lift me up so much. I couldn’t do this job for a day by myself and and so fortunate to work next to the individuals I do. Kristy Sampietro , Jacqueline Causa , Darren Aldrich , Francesco Corrente , Andrew Argiento. We all make this machine run that is SBS. 5. Find a boss that tolerates you at your best AND worst. Work is a part of life, not your entire life. Thanks for embracing the chaos Jason Coppola 6. Bring the best out of your team. We have dealt with it all and they have helped me grow more as a leader and person than I ever could have imagined. 7. Jaclyn Schulman thank you for making sure I took that first call and for pushing me. Take the interview. Take the chance. Embrace the change that you want in your life 2️⃣

𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗧𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗔 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 We recently helped a candidate navigate a tricky hiring process, which can feel like a chess game. Despite her current employer tempting her with counter-offers, including promotions and more money, she stayed focused on her goal. Our client recognised her true potential, patiently waited, and addressed all her concerns. Today, she’s thriving in her dream job with them. This story is a testament to the power of kindness, understanding, and perseverance. On this #WorldKindnessDay, remember that kindness in the hiring process can lead to amazing outcomes. It's not just about filling a position but helping someone achieve their dreams and potential. 𝗔𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗹𝘂𝗰𝗸𝘆 𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸? 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝘂𝘀. Three years ago I made a big career shift and Freeman+Leonard took a chance on me. I’m so thankful for this opportunity and the team I get to work with and learn from every day. Making the move from being a creative to a creative and marketing recruiter has been both rewarding and stretching. In this role I have been able to lean into my strengths (StrengthsFinder: Belief, Connectedness, Communication, Development and Responsibility) and leverage them in new and powerful ways. This has helped me grow as a person and recruiter, allowed me to bring value to the team and ultimately enabled me to partner with incredible talent to grow in their careers. As with everything, it has not been smooth sailing, and I've learned a lot about myself and the industry. My top three takeaways over the past 3 years are: Be KIND. Kindness can go a long way. This was true during my creative days, but even more so when dealing with emotional situations like job loss or job rejection. A little empathy, listening ear and kindness can really turn someone's day around. You never know what is happening on the other end of the phone or email, use every opportunity to remember people are human and treat them as such. It’s HARD. Finding the right person, at the right time for the right job is SO much harder than I realized when I was on the client side. Changing jobs won’t eliminate challenges, obstacles or difficulties BUT when you’re in your element, solving those problems becomes almost second nature. Create an environment that fosters trust and where your team is able to take risks, fail, learn and grow. CREATIVITY and innovation aren’t just for creatives. I was a little worried about losing my creative side by taking this opportunity. However, I’ve actually used so much creativity in recruiting, it's just channeled in different ways. Finding new ways to use your strengths actually makes them better because it requires growth. Here's to another year of connecting people & careers! Thank you Kathy Leonard, Andrea Tipton and Rachel Runnels! #anniversary #cheersto3years #recruiting

As we welcome another beautiful Thursday, I find myself immersed in a deep sense of gratitude for the journey and the incredible opportunities this role as a recruiter has presented. In the spirit of #ThankfulThursdays, I'd love to share a few facets of my job for which I'm thankful. ◾ The Power of Connections - Every day, I'm afforded the chance to connect with talented individuals from diverse backgrounds and industries. The stories they share and the dreams they chase inspire me. These connections aren't just professional; they often grow into meaningful relationships that enrich my understanding and perspective on the vast tapestry of the workforce. ◾ Impactful Work - Being a recruiter means being at the crossroads of change and ambition. It's incredibly fulfilling to play a part in someone's career journey, whether it's helping them land their dream job or offering advice that sparks a moment of clarity and confidence. The impact of these moments goes beyond professional success; they touch lives. ◾ Continuous Learning - The constant evolution of the job market and recruitment strategies keeps me on my toes. Every challenge is an opportunity to learn, grow, and refine my approach. This perpetual growth is something I treasure deeply. ◾ Our Team - I'm thankful for the brilliant and supportive team I work with. Their dedication, creativity, and compassion create an environment where challenges become achievements, and setbacks turn into learning opportunities. We celebrate our successes and learn from our mistakes together, always moving forward. ◾ Our Candidates and Clients - Last but certainly not least, my gratitude extends to the talented candidates and the visionary clients we serve. Your trust empowers us to do our best work. Your feedback fuels our growth, and your success stories are our greatest reward. Here's to making thankfulness a habit, not just on Thursdays, but every day. What are you thankful for today? #ThankfulThursdays #Gratitude #RecruiterLife #ConnectingTalent #Teamwork
