🌟 May is National Mental Health Awareness Month! 🌟 Did you know that more than 1 in 5 adults or children experience some sort of mental health disorder? These numbers are truly alarming. Last year, I stumbled upon an article that completely transformed my understanding of leadership and its impact on individuals experiencing mental health disorders. It reminded me that above all else, we must prioritize humanity over our roles as leaders or teachers. Let's remember to inspire and encourage those who are struggling to find their way back to the light. Every individual is meant to shine, and when supported in the right environment, they can be powerful beyond measure. Together, let's continue to advocate for mental health awareness and create spaces where everyone feels valued and supported. 💙 #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth #Leadership #HumanityFirst

The engagement initiative conducted at Uwani Secondary School (Boys) through a well-structured and data-driven approach provided students with a comprehensive understanding of mental health, mental and emotional resilience, various emotions, and the impact of negative emotions on both their mental well-being and on the broader society. The initiative also empowered students to identify positive pathways for coping and living fulfilling lives. #mentalhealthisholistic #themindiseverything #emotionandmentalresilience #CopeandliveS2S #treasureyourmentalhealth #childcareandprotection #studentsmentalhealthmatters #problemsolving
