**Designing with Heart: My Journey with SuperBee** When I design collections for SuperBee's eco-products, it's deeply personal. Our first collection—featuring big flowers, ginghams, spots, cherries, and picnic-inspired themes—was a dedication to our grandmothers and a little slice of the 1950s. It was a way to honor the generations that shaped us. Without them, without their resourcefulness and wisdom, we wouldn’t have the foundation we stand on today. Sustainability is often seen as a forward-thinking concept, but for me, it’s also about looking back. Our grandmothers lived without the conveniences we take for granted. They cooked from scratch, reused everything, and were incredibly resourceful because they had to be. They inspire me, especially when I think about how we can live more simply, using less and making the most of what we have. As I design new collections, I often wrestle with the balance between creating designs that sell and staying true to our values. It’s a delicate dance—honoring what I know people love while keeping the essence of what SuperBee stands for close to my heart. Right now, I’m drawing inspiration from the 60s and 70s with a retro vibe and ocean themes. The goal? To create designs that connect us with nature and remind us why we’re doing this—to keep our oceans beautiful and reduce plastic in our homes. Designing for SuperBee is a personal journey, one that blends nostalgia, creativity, and a deep commitment to sustainability. It’s about paying tribute to the past while inspiring change for the future. #PersonalJourney #Sustainability #DesignWithPurpose #SuperBee #RetroDesign #OrganicCotton #OceanInspired #MinimalPlastic ---
