🌍⚙️ Insights from the CTI Symposium 2024 ⚙️🌍 I had the pleasure of attending the CTI Symposium some days ago, an event renowned for its fantastic atmosphere, opportunities for exchange with industry specialists, and an incredible lineup of thought-provoking presentations. This year, it was particularly interesting to observe how the automotive industry appears to be navigating a new phase of recalibration after the initial wave of "Electrification Hyper Enthusiasm." As an enthusiast of e-mobility, I believe the transition to electrification remains inevitable and transformative. However, it’s clear that the shift will take longer than initially anticipated, as the industry faces a reality check on scaling, infrastructure, and other challenges. These reflections are natural in any major transformation and will continue to fuel innovation and progress. Thank you to everyone who made this symposium such a valuable experience! 📣 LEM is now a proud member of the Swiss Smart Factory! This research group, part of the Switzerland Innovation Park Biel/Bienne, is a hub for IIoT, Industry 4.0, and Smart Manufacturing innovations. For over six years, they have been generating groundbreaking solutions for Swiss SMEs. Currently, the Swiss Smart Factory team is working on various projects in areas such as smart vision systems, AI-based worker assistants, modular production platforms, and more. As part of this modern production ecosystem, LEM will join more than 70 industrial partners already active in creating an innovative production environment. Often referred to as the #Industry40 ideas supermarket, the Swiss Smart Factory allows companies to explore and get excited about industry 4.0 concepts and implementation approaches.
