Happy to share some thoughts on #CSDDD in my latest byline for Supply Chain Management Review Magazine. This new regulation doesn’t just mandate compliance—it presents a unique opportunity for companies to lead in sustainability, create value and differentiate themselves in a competitive market. For supply chain professionals, the CSDDD should not be merely a regulatory hurdle, but a catalyst for innovation and leadership. In the article, I discuss efforts by companies like IKEA, Apple, Patagonia and Unilever as well as outlining four practical steps all #supplychain professionals must now take. It's about an active partnership with suppliers, rather than only a transactional relationship, it's about leveraging technology like AI, it's about not just identifying risks, but also understanding the impact of mitigating that risk. I urge you - do not treat CSDDD as just a box to check. By making continuous improvement a core part of your supply chain strategy, companies can not only ensure compliance but also drive innovation and long-term value creation. After all, #sustainable growth, in every sense of the world, is what we want! (And if you can't access the full article, let me know and I'll send it to you!)
Jag tar också gärna del av artikeln, toppen om du kan skicka till mig :)
I can't access the full article, I'd be interested to read it. I agree with your vision, it should be the same with CSRD and CBAM.
