🚀 Excited to share my latest project! 🎉 I’ve just completed a media player app that efficiently fetches all videos and audios available on local mobile storage. Here are some of its key features: Directory and File Listing: Provides organized lists of directories/folders and individual audios and videos. Multi-Screen Navigation: Utilizes multiple screens for a seamless user experience. Configuration Change Handling: Survives configuration changes and continues playing from where it left off. State Persistence: Soon integrating preference datastore to store the previous media state and resume playback seamlessly. Modern Technologies: Built with Jetpack Compose, Dagger Hilt, Coil, the latest type-safe Navigation library, Media3, ExoPlayer, and runtime permission handling. Looking forward to integrating even more features and making this app even better! Your feedback and suggestions are welcome. 🌟 You can check it out. https://lnkd.in/dMM2m3NT #AndroidDevelopment #JetpackCompose #DaggerHilt #Coil #ExoPlayer #MediaPlayer #MobileApp

I don't normally write these kind of posts, but I'm genuinely excited about the release of Gradio 5. As a long-time Streamlit user, I've always appreciated its extensive community support. However, my time at Hugging Face opened my eyes to Gradio's growing influence in the ML app development space. 🧑💻 My biggest gripe with Gradio was always its UI/UX which didn't look too sleek, but that's been completely addressed in this latest release, which brings a more modern look to my ML demos. 🤖 Getting an MVP done quickly is super important, and I don't want to scour the docs for an hour to just make a one-line change in my code. The playground, https://lnkd.in/emKytKVt, allows me to ask questions about my code, suggest/make changes tailored to my app, preview it all in my browser. 🎤 With OpenAI's recent release of their real-time API, we're bound to see a surge in real-time applications. Gradio 5 now offers out-of-the-box support for real-time functionality using websockets, which makes it super fast & efficient. If you're in the ML/AI space and haven't given Gradio a try recently, now's the perfect time to check it out. The improvements in version 5 make it a serious contender for your go-to ML app development framework. Kudos to Abubakar Abid & the team for the great work!

SwiftUI's new zoom transition is like magic ✨🪄 But here's what they don't tell you: • It works across presentations where matched geometry effect fails 🔄 • You need stable view IDs for both source and destination 🔑 • It's perfect for enhancing detail view transitions 🖼️➡️🔍 I've been experimenting with this in our app's trip detail pages. 🧪📱 Pro tip: Combine it with a fade transition for extra polish. ✨💫 #iOSDevTips #SwiftUITricks #MobileAppDesign

Fun use case for Lovable's GPTengineer (FYI, Anton Osika): I am doing an internal demo for the Product team at Nebius about a time I messed up (at Karma), and I started looking for screenshots or video of what we built at the time, where I went wrong, and what I learned. After looking for about 5 minutes, I realized that it could actually be faster to replicate the app in GPTengineer, rather than continue to look for screenshots or video. And, voila, 1 prompt and 3 minutes later, I have an app that replicates 80% of the functionality at the time and demonstrates the user painpoint that I had missed (and would 100% have caught if had just TESTED IT WITH REAL USERS EARLY ON).
