3 things for you: 🌟 Here’s more about me. I share quite a bit about my professional life here. I’d like to give you a glimpse into my existence away from work. Here are 3 quick things to know: 🌟 Have you stopped by one of our open chats lately? For me, it’s interesting to see the flow of conversations that happen over a year. Throughout the past month, we’ve had a good number of interesting topics. I opened a new chat on Sunday, and I’d love to see you take part soon: https://lnkd.in/eC-XKK42. 🌟 If you’re in the U.S., who’s ready for Thanksgiving? I’m picking up the turkey this week, and a menu is already planned for the day. I find it interesting that most of us never eat whole turkeys outside Thanksgiving or Christmas each year. That thought got me thinking about other food that generally never crosses our mind beyond holiday windows. Fruit cakes? Almost anything that includes peppermint? 🌟 My favorite holiday meats, ranked: 1. Prime rib, 2. Turkey, 3. Roast beef. Do you have 3 things to share? #UXWriting #ContentDesign #ContentStrategy

🗓 A few months back, we established a connection with an executive based in the DMV area on this platform. She expressed immense enthusiasm for our sauce, emphasizing its transformative impact on her home-cooked meals. 👩🍳 😋 Gone were the days of bland and uninspiring dinners; now, her children eagerly anticipated dinner time with the added burst of flavor our sauce brought to their table. 🙌 📈 Interestingly, we've observed a trend where many individuals who sample our sauce once become regular customers. This leads me to inquire about the strategies you employ to avoid dull and flavorless meals when you dine at home. 💯 ✅ What culinary tactics or approaches do you find effective in enhancing the taste of your homemade dishes? Now that Thanksgiving is behind us, here’s a little PSA: “When they say stick to the recipe.” Stick to the recipe. My local stores were out of canned pineapples, so my boyfriend got a fresh pineapple. A pineapple is a pineapple, right….WRONG. Turns out fresh pineapples make the ham mushy. Luckily, I was cooking it for my house, so there was no major embarrassment, and we salvaged the part near the bone. The moral of the story: Recipes are rules, not suggestions. Whether in the kitchen or the workplace, process matters. Innovation is great, but understanding the why behind a process helps you know when and how to experiment without derailing the result. Got an unusual Thanksgiving recipe planned for this year (or one you’ve cooked in the past)? Send it in! This year, Thrive is reprising a tradition that Nora Ephron started at HuffPost in 2014: "Tell Us What You're Cooking This Year For Thanksgiving Dinner That You Didn't Cook Last Year." Of course, part of what makes Thanksgiving so meaningful is the ritual of it, including the traditional menu – and that’s also why targeted departures from that menu can be special. When Nora started this campaign in 2014, she noted that at her house, Thanksgiving dinner was always the same – except for one change each year. So how are you planning to depart from the usual Thanksgiving dinner? What is, as Nora put it, “the thing you've never cooked before on Thanksgiving day, the thing that proves conclusively that you're up for change, that you're not your mother, that you're open to new ideas, that you're flexible and full of surprises and with-it food-wise, even though the truth about Thanksgiving is the exact opposite –– it's about ritual and tradition and the same-old same-old.” Message me your recipe with the subject RECIPE, along with photos if you’ve got them (either your own or from the site you got the recipe from). I’ll feature several in my next newsletter.

This morning, instead of hitting the gym at 5AM, I chose to start my portion of the Thanksgiving meal. The house was quiet, still, and filled with a certain kind of peace that only early mornings can bring. 🍂 Cooking is one of my love languages. 💕 There’s something magical about preparing dishes that people look forward to all year. It’s my way of showing love—one sprinkle of seasoning and simmer at a time. But oh, how far I’ve come! I used to cook everything on Thanksgiving Day, running around the kitchen, taste-testing (until I was too full!), and barely having the energy to enjoy the meal—or the day. Now, I’ve learned that some dishes are like fine wine—they get better with time. A day or two of marinating transforms them into pure perfection. 🌟 So, here’s your reminder: give yourself a break and start early! Your future self will thank you. 🙌 And for those leftovers? Don’t let them go to waste! 🍗🥘 Here are some whimsical ways to turn them into post-Thanksgiving treats: 🍽️ Thanksgiving Waffles 🧇 Use your stuffing to create a crispy waffle base. Then, stack it high with your favorite leftovers—sweet potatoes, cranberry sauce, turkey, collard greens—the works! 🥢 Thanksgiving Egg Rolls Roll up your favorite Thanksgiving combo in egg roll wrappers and fry them to golden perfection. Just don’t overstuff! 😉 🧀 Mac & Cheese Bites Scoop your mac and cheese into bite-sized balls, dip in egg, coat with breadcrumbs, and fry until crispy and irresistible. 😍 From my family to yours, wishing you a Thanksgiving filled with love, laughter, and good eats! 🦃🍁🍽️ 💼 Speaking of serving things up... Whether it's business development, consulting, or assessments, I can help you cook up the perfect recipe for success in 2025! Let’s connect and build something amazing together. #ThanksgivingVibes #CookingWithLove #BusinessDevelopment #Consulting #TeamBuilding #LMRConsulting #HolidayLeftovers #Gratitude
