Bird proofing. Safe access is in place and the team is ready to complete the proofing of these solar panels to prevent pigeons. The nesting material and waste from the pigeons was causing blockages in the guttering which required regular cleaning. Placing solar panels onto your roof is an investment and protecting that investment is key to the longevity of the area. Looking forward to the finished result. www.cleankill.co.uk #propertymanagement #facilitiesmanagement

🚨 Introducing our ND Solar Mounting System for Green Roofs! 🚨 A modular, ballasted mounting system for placing individual solar panels / rows of solar panels on a green roof. With this system, sufficient distance is maintained between the vegetation and the solar panels to ensure optimal performance of both. Check out our installation video below 🎥 The ND Solar Mounting System for Green Roofs is ballasted on the drainage system using the ND Solar Ballast Support, eliminating the need to place it on the waterproofing membrane. Additionally, the adjustable riser does not need to pierce the drainage system. Therefore, the mounting system can be easily positioned and adjusted to the desired panel orientation. This supports a highly flexible approach to install the solar panels. This type of installation also helps prevent hydrostatic pressure on the waterproofing membrane. The adjustable riser allows for compensation of slope and unevenness. The riser can be adjusted in increments of 2 cm at 4 levels. Plus, it’s also perfect for inverted roofs and water retention roofs too! Do you know about our massive septic-to-sewer conversion work in Australia’s Mornington Peninsula? With 114 miles / 183.5 kilometers of difficult, sandy terrain and undulating plains, the Mornington Peninsula coastline experiences a huge increase in the population from summer tourism. Strained or failing septic tanks caused leaching, odors, and contamination of groundwater. Gravity sewer and pressure sewer systems were considered for this project. After evaluating both approaches, pressure sewers were deemed both the most feasible and cost-effective solution, saving ~$120 million on the project compared to gravity. A finalist in Australia’s 2014 Premier Sustainability Awards, the program cited the project for its, “integration of a novel approach to design, new technology and trenchless drilling (which) has allowed the corporation to apply a modern solution to address age-old issues." Want to know more about this groundbreaking project and how our technology can help you? Read both parts from Pumps & Systems Media linked on our website! https://lnkd.in/gmivqkn

Not that water? The least likely future water supply strategies in Texas include #reuse or #direct #potable reuse, #desalination of #brackish #groundwater or #seawater, and new #reservoir construction according to a survey of 246 water utilities. If this survey is a snapshot of how utilities are thinking, imagine the public response. Overall, utility top water supply strategies were conservation, 53%, water main repair and rehabilitation, 53%, and development of additional groundwater supplies, 36%. These are all good and should be done, maybe first, because the cheapest water is the water we already have. BUT our need will not be met this way. Reuse or direct potable reuse, desalination of brackish groundwater or seawater, and new reservoir construction represent our future, alternative water supply. It would be best to go there together, now, not when desperation drives us there. Keep your maps handy as we leave the bustling cities behind and venture into the rural landscapes of the Northeast! Our final stop: the Pilesgrove Solar Project in scenic Salem County, New Jersey. This 20 MW solar PV farm is powering over 5,100 homes with clean, reliable energy every year, proving that innovation thrives in even the quietest corners. At Pilesgrove, KWRE team members blazed a trail and took part in pioneering solar design standards to bring this ambitious project to life. But that’s not all—the project also tackled stormwater management, erosion control, and even found creative ways to minimize the tick population on-site, making this a shining example of adaptability and environmental care. With the achievements of this solar project in the rearview, it’s time to cruise out of the Northeast – buckle up! #CleanEnergyWeek #BuildingCleanerFuture #KWRE #RenewableEnergy #Sustainability #CleanEnergy #CleanEnergyJourney #KWRERoadtrip #SustainabilityOnTheRoad #EnergyRoadtrip #DiscoverCleanEnergy #RoadtripAcrossAmerica #ExploreRenewables #GreenInnovation #FutureOfEnergy #SustainableSolutions #EnergyTransformation #CleanEnergyRevolution #TravelGreen #CarbonFootprintImpact #JobsInRenewables #GridReliability #SolarPower #WindEnergy #BatteryStorage #HydrogenProjects #RenewableDevelopment #CleanEnergyFuture #HavingFunWithRenewableEnergy #NortheastRegion #WildestRideInTheWilderness
