The ICMA Research and Publications Department has released the latest issue of "ICMA MPS Review' which provide its analysis on the reduction of 250 bps in policy rate by the SBP, and also views of experts, business and industry on this decision.  ICMA also highlights the importance of upcoming years from 2024 to 2028 which has the potential to generate the path of sustainable economic development if appropriate policies are implemented. Dear LCA Experts Interested in Biogenic Carbon, The abstract submissions are now open for the session "5.07 - Including the Biogenic Carbon Emissions and Removals in Life Cycle Assessment: Advances and Challenges" at SETAC Europe 35th Annual Meeting in Austria (11 – 15 May 2025). The submission deadline is 20th November 2024. This session will be chaired by Ilkka Leinonen, Anniina Lehtilä (Liimatainen), and me. This session invites abstracts exploring:  Methodological advancements in including biogenic carbon in LCA  Modeling techniques (e.g., biogenic carbon calculation, integration, allocation, forest and soil carbon, GIS modeling)  Alignment with guidelines (e.g., PEF, ISO 14067, PAS 2050:2011)  Policy impacts and decision support  Case studies demonstrating practical application We aim to foster a dynamic discussion on how to incorporate biogenic carbon into LCA, addressing the significant challenges related to data gaps and standards, etc. Please share with relevant colleagues!
