Charging AHEAD⚡️ We’re super proud to announce our participation in the AHEAD Project, which has just kicked off 🎉 AHEAD, an acronym for AI-informed Holistic Electric Vehicles Integration Approaches for Distribution Grids, is a pioneering initiative co-funded by the European Union through the Horizon Europe research and innovation framework. Spanning 48 months, the project involves 21 partners from eight different countries 🌍 The main objective is to develop an AI-based simulation platform designed to pinpoint the optimal locations for EV charging stations and enhance the efficiency of the power grid and charging station use. Key focus areas include: 🔌 AC and DC charging solutions designed for frequency regulation (FCR) and enhanced cybersecurity. 🤖 Advanced AI tools to enhance grid integration, enable smart charging, and analyze charging behaviors. 🔋 Innovative Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) and FCR technologies. 🔄 Integration of a variety of flexibility services into the grid. 🛡️ Cybersecurity and threat scenarios for e-mobility platforms now and in the future.
