#TechnologyConfluence24 by nasscom foundation on Nov 26 in Delhi, I look forward to industry thought leaders address these challenges: Complexity & Fragility Risks * How hyper-adaptive systems will remain simple and manageable ? * How will check on systemic vulnerability to failure due to Increased interconnectedness addressed along with Reduced predictability and control? Economic Constraints "Built to change" philosophy requires continuous massive capital investment * How would enterprises sustain perpetual transformation ? * How to ensure survival of Smaller players from getting systematically excluded, High transition costs act as structural barriers ? Security & Governance Challenges * How to address Cybersecurity risks arising out of fluid, adaptive infrastructures ? * Will Regulatory frameworks match up to technological mutations as potential for systemic exploitation increases and Privacy and data sovereignty become harder to guarantee? This calls for exceptional human talent capable of conceptualizing and implementing such systems . Stakeholders get overwhelmed by constant change and sometimes leads to backlash. Idea sounds revolutionary, but history shows technological paradigms often favor disruption though unexpected, simple solutions. I have survived in this industry for to decades and have often spoken about unaddressed concerns of stakeholders in industry particularly small vendors, and even public through public financial institutions. This is good time Industry pushes for consistent and transparent long term policy frameworks based on stakeholders feedbacks.

Successive years of +25 B USD or more annual R&D investments industry wide in AI and AI related learning models combined with disproportionate acceleration in super scale , low unit compute storage and infrastructure costs - and sufficiently large pool of data ( both public and sometimes not so ) are colliding - in dramatic ways to create a shining new promise in the new AI lead world ! What is often forgotten is the underlying transformation of the ‘connected’ cloud / AI zones instances amongst themselves - and to the enterprises and consumers who will pay for the use . The scale and technical model for such connected infrastructure - will have to dramatically transform to a new age framework ‘ built to change ‘ as opposed to ‘ built to last traditional ‘ telecom networks . At @Lightstorm we have been challenging this status quo as our existential mission - as a born in India global start up for the past few years and love the challenges and opportunities that this provides . Nasscom has been a pioneering forum to spur the discussions around non-conformist innovation and challenging ‘ real themes ’ for the industry to debate and collaborate …..
