Listening to these comments in the video you can see a common thread that “serving others” has AT LEAST a 2-fold benefit……..it obviously benefits the one being served, AND it also benefits the one serving!! Lesson to be learned: it’s always a WIN-WIN to serve.

Today, on Veterans Day, we pause to reflect on the immense sacrifices made by those who have served in our armed forces. To all the veterans-past, present, and future-thank you! Your courage, dedication, and commitment to protecting our freedom and way of life are beyond words. You've faced challenges that many of us can't even imagine. May we never forget the price of freedom, and may we continue to support and uplift those who have given so much for our country. #RepublicServicesVALOR10 #VeteransDay #RepublicServices #SustainabilityInAction

Interesting to read.
This election is historic for yet another reason: it’s the first time two GWOT veterans - both enlisted, to boot - have been on a presidential ticket running against each other. They couldn’t be more opposite, politically speaking, but my hope is Senator Vance and Governor Walz create a precedent of sticking to substantive differences rather than attacking each other’s military service. With <1% of the U.S. population serving in our Armed Forces in a given year and ~5% of the total population being veterans, service should be commended.

I have to admit I have the best colleagues and friends around (not biased at all 😉 ). These women and other Airmen and Guardians just like them have kept their services afloat by serving as protocol officers, strategy experts, operational and tactical warriors, and so much more. Lucky for me, I have become friends with and gotten to know servicemembers outside of my first specialty, the tactical flying community. People from every profession in the military are necessary to keep us being the best, strongest, and most capable Air Force and Space Force on the planet. Have you reached out to someone outside your primary specialty today? Exploring different roles within the military can provide valuable insights into how diverse expertise enhances national and global security. #MilitaryService #NationalSecurity #DiversityInRoles
