On the 22nd of April 2024, in the heart of Mayfair, Rare Founders is set to redefine the usual post-accelerator #demoday by combining an investor and founder focused conference with London's largest demo day yet. Together with SeedLegals, we will be bridging panels, masterclasses, and talks created specifically for investors and founders; and all of that will be delivered while 100 pre-selected founders will be pitching to the audience of investors throughout the day. 38 investors (VCs, Angel Syndicates, Family Offices) have joined us to make this event happen. I continually get requests for Just Send It, CO to apply to pitch to investors. When I look into these requests, I usually find that these competitions require you to pay an insane amount of money to apply to pitch to investors. To all founders, you should never pay for the attempt to pitch. Use that money to build your product or service. To all the predatory VC pitch competitions that charge founders to pitch: you should really ask what problem you’re solving. Stop ripping off first-time or unaware founders. Young Startups you’re just the latest one today. $400 to apply to possibly pitch. Get a real job.
