Establishing an AI-based integrated cancer center would provide a comprehensive approach, incorporating all treatment perspectives—chemotherapy, radiation therapy, targeted therapy, immunotherapy, hormone therapy, gene therapy, surgery, cryotherapy, hyperthermia, and stem cell transplantation—while considering their varying benefits and side effects.

Siftr Bio, a new Imperial spinout, is advancing antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) treatments by improving the design of linkers that release toxic payloads in tumors. This innovative approach, developed from research in Prof. Ed Tate's lab, one of our Masters course director Department of Chemistry at Imperial College London , aims to enhance ADC precision and reduce side effects. By using human tissue in their testing, Siftr Bio is pioneering next-gen ADC treatments, with support from CRUK’s Cancer Tech Accelerator and £1m in pre-seed funding. Immutep Limited today announces a License Agreement with Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd granting the Company exclusive rights to develop and commercialise anti-LAG-3 small molecules. Professor Andrew Godkin of Cardiff University said: “Our collaboration with Immutep has been exciting and fruitful, resulting in a number of small molecules with the potential to fight cancer by blocking the interaction between LAG-3 on T cells and MHC Class II on antigen-presenting cells.
