🌟🌟🌟 NOT A Spoiler Allert… 🌟🌟🌟 I’m really looking forward to the panel discussion at the Italian Process Equipment Days Expo & Conference organised by Euro Petroleum Consultants and AIPE today! The panel will focus on Collaboration & Partnership—the Pillars of Successful #EnergyTransition and I can’t wait to dive into this essential topic. One area I’m particularly passionate about is how technology providers like John Crane are playing a critical role in the energy transition. It’s easy to overlook components like mechanical seals, but they’re mission-critical to plant operations, helping to improve efficiency, reduce emissions, and extend equipment life. This leads to lower Total Cost of Ownership (TCO). But why does it matter? When you think about the lifecycle of any large industrial facility, every efficiency gain, every maintenance cycle extended, and every emission prevented contributes directly to both sustainability and profitability. The energy transition is about more than just adopting new fuels and technologies… it’s about optimising every part of the value chain. Mechanical seals may be just one part of the equation, but they make a huge difference in achieving long-term sustainability goals. Looking forward to hearing everyone’s insights and driving the conversation forward! Hi, I’m Izabela Santos, and if you like what you see, 𝐟𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰 𝐦𝐞 and let’s make the world a better place together! The opinions in this post are my own. #EnergyTransition #MechanicalSeals #TotalCostOfOwnership #Sustainability #Hydrogen #CCUS #PTX #Biofuels

Closing the loop on lithium-ion battery materials is important...and we're focused on returning used critical minerals back to the domestic battery supply chain. But we can't forget about that other supply chain metaphor: vertical integration. Beyond closing the loop, we're creating a vertically integrated battery materials supply chain in the United States. As the name of our company suggests, we're elevating the value of recycled critical minerals and engineering new, sustainable battery materials in the United States. It's good for the environment AND good for U.S. energy security. Learn more about our domestic battery materials capabilities! https://lnkd.in/gRAF2S4T

Critical materials are the building blocks of our clean energy future. At AMMTO, we’re supporting research and development that will ultimately reduce supply risk from these materials and produce them more sustainably. For example: - We’re diversifying and expanding our supply through advanced processes and unconventional sources, like extraction of lithium from geothermal brines. - We’re advancing alternatives that can reduce our need for critical materials, such as swapping out neodymium for more abundant cerium in magnets for wind power and efficient motors for EVs. - We’re supporting recycling critical materials, such as through our recently announced E-SCRAP Prize, which will support regional efforts to recycle critical materials from electronic scrap. (See info on the Prize and how to apply here: https://lnkd.in/etqQXSgx) We can't do it alone. Join us in this important work!
