November is National Family Caregivers Month. I want to take a moment to highlight how caregivers make a difference in the lives of those facing a wide range of serious and life-threatening conditions. Usually behind the scenes, family caregivers can include partners, parents, siblings, adult children, teens and close friends. Over the course of my career I've had the opportunity to meet many incredibly inspiring family caregivers supporting people living with diseases such as ALS, MS, Parkinson's, epilepsy and Stargardt disease. Thank you to all the caregivers out there for your selfless support of those you love.
