Crazy to see that The ‘Alameda gap’ (the gap in liquidity left after the collapse of FTX and its sister company Alameda has closed on US exchanges) has only just closed. #Bitcoin 1% market depth is up above its pre-FTX levels of around $120mn this year. Kraken Digital Asset Exchange, Coinbase & LMAX Group have seen the strongest rise in liquidity. Worth pointing out #BTC market depth on LMAX hit a record $24m last week, to become the 3rd largest, over taking Bitstamp for a little while. Thanks to Kaiko for the info

Tether.io has significantly influenced the 2024 bull run by injecting $37 billion USDT into the market over the past year. This substantial increase in USDT supply is a key factor behind #Bitcoin reaching two ATH in 2024. Tether provides liquidity for buyers, driving prices upward. For instance, in the past 12 hours, they injected $1.845 billion #USDT into exchanges: • $1.706 billion to Binance • $101.7 million to Coinbase • $20 million to OKX $17.86 million to Kraken Digital Asset Exchange Without this, buyers would lack sufficient USDT in the market to push prices higher.

These altcoins have halved in value after delisting on Binance: Read more -Binance will stop trading on all spot and margin pairs: OmiseGo (OMG), Waves, Wrapped NXM (WNXM) and NEM (XEM). Withdrawals of these assets from the platform are not supported after September 17, but delisted coins can be converted to stable coins on behalf of users after September 18.
