Web3 developers- what is your biggest painpoint in coding in the web3 ecosystem? Mine is multi-chain integrations. So many chains do things in different ways, how do we normalize the data and transaction params/flows?

Day#5: Today, I expanded my knowledge of APIs and JSON, focusing on how to effectively use Postman to make requests. I explored various methods for fetching data from APIs, including: XMLHttpRequest: The traditional approach for handling HTTP requests in JavaScript. Fetch API: A modern, promise-based method that simplifies working with requests and responses. Axios: A popular library that streamlines HTTP requests and provides powerful features like interceptors and request cancellation. Additionally, I learned about HTTP headers—an essential part of requests and responses that provide important context and control over how data is transferred between clients and servers. #day5 #30DaysOfCoding

Landing page leaves a lot to be desired, but this was mostly a backend project. Anyways, her is a demo of a project I worked on, which displays user bill and invoice data. I used NestJS, Prisma, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, JSON Web Tokens, AG Grid, and React. Passwords are safely stored in the database using bcrypt, and data is only shown to the respective user once they have been authenticated and issued a JWT.

Some developers appear to be considering the use of API endpoints prior to the development of the API itself. In such cases, a mock API can be a valuable tool. By registering a URL with the full response details (e.g., HTTP code, HTTP content, etc.) in the mock API, developers can immediately begin utilizing it. Furthermore, front-end developers no longer need to wait for the API to be created by the backend team. By declaring the HTTP response model using JSON Schema, developers can obtain a fully populated model with mock values. If you require latency or wish to validate an authorization token, Mock API can assist. All that is required is an understanding of the API contracts. I have created an open-source Mock API implementation, which is available on my GitHub https://lnkd.in/eEEazKmr. I hope you enjoy it.
