The safetensors format turns two this month! 🎉 The Hugging Face ML community has fully embraced this faster, more secure alternative to traditional formats like "pickle" and "h5". Today, around 30% of all the bytes uploaded to Hugging Face are in the safetensors format. Huge shoutout to Nicolas Patry for taking this project from inception to becoming the de facto standard! 🙌 Talk about single-handed impact. 🚀

We are celebrating 🎉 1000 users on Gobenchmark.io. A big 🙏 to our growing user community!!! Last Thursday, we celebrated Aamir, our 1000th user on gobenchmark.io. We are incredibly proud of our user community's strides in performance engineering, observability, DORA, and FinOps. On a mission to measure the unmeasurable and bring crucial practices such as performance engineering closer to the source, we started 2020 with an incredible journey. In 2022, we launched an AI-powered knowledge modeling platform, Gobenchmark, designed for everyone interested in fast and sustainable business applications. In 2023 the US Patent office granted our patent for the unique Performance Engineering Maturity Model. Today, we have more than 1000 users on our platform who validate their maturity level, compare their practices to industry standards, and consume our mentorship to mitigate risks. It was finally time for Prototyp Week – our yearly company hackathon and innovation sprint. Here are some of the projects that emerged this time: · A reinforcement learning AI that can solve puzzles and mini games without instructions. 👾 · An AI-powered office birdhouse that you can ask questions. 🐦 · An adventure game completely built by LLMs – from story to graphics and dialogue. 🏰 · Improved morning reminders in the office Sonos system using AI and voice cloning to spice things up. 📣 · A tool that can translate sentences into emojis based on context. 🤯 We’ll dig deeper into these projects over the coming weeks, but here is a brief summary of the work so far.
