Job Description: We need a Google Ads Specialist who isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and dig into the data. This role is for someone who can see beyond the surface metrics and get to the core of what drives conversions. You will be expected to question assumptions, challenge ineffective strategies, and not settle for mediocre results. If you are more interested in making excuses than making improvements, this isn’t the role for you. Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and refine Google Ads campaigns with a relentless focus on ROI. Conduct in-depth keyword research, competitor analysis, and audience targeting to ensure we are not wasting spend on ineffective strategies. Actively monitor and adjust campaigns daily; a 'set it and forget it' approach will not fly here. Critically analyze performance metrics, identify failures, and propose data-backed solutions swiftly. Drive A/B testing with a clear hypothesis and actionable outcomes; testing without purpose is wasted effort. Prepare clear, concise reports that highlight what’s working, what’s not, and what you plan to do about it. Stay ahead of industry trends, but more importantly, know which trends are worth following and which are hype. Qualifications: Proven experience with a portfolio that demonstrates not just knowledge, but measurable results in Google Ads. Strong analytical skills—able to cut through the noise and identify what actually matters. Deep familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and other digital marketing tools. Excellent communication skills; you should be able to defend your strategies with data and insights. Self-starter with a proactive approach; we won’t micromanage you, but we expect results. Google Ads certification is a must; however, if all you bring is the certification and no real results, this role isn’t for you. A little weekend food for thought: 96% of all Google searches are unbranded. 70% of the workforce is made up of passive candidates. So most of your target audience isn't searching for "jobs" at all. And pretty much no passive candidates are searching for you by brand. Currently, PPC only targets active candidates.
