Once you create your foundational brand messaging, it’s smart to review regularly for opportunities to enhance it. My go to sources: 🔸 Client conversations 🔸 Online reviews 🔸 Client emails A not so common source: your competitors. And it’s not what you think. Let me explain. Most businesses have positive and negative reviews. Look at your top competitors for the less than 5 star reviews for opportunities. 🔸Is there anything their clients are unhappy with that you know you do well? 🔸Double down on that messaging. And the things your competitors tout, is there any way you could promote the opposite? Let’s say they proudly promote they serve clients nationwide. If you’re more community focused, own it. Not one business is everyone’s cup of tea.
