We are excited to spotlight Royal Electric Company for their generous $10,000 donation and their belief in the AGC CEF mission to connect people and communities to meaningful work and rewarding futures in construction. Their support has enabled us to expand our programs like never before. This year, we have reached over 53,600 students and job seekers, trained more than 2,200 construction professionals, and awarded over $105,000 in scholarships and grants. Now, we are asking for your help to match this donation and raise an additional $10,000 by the end of the year. Together, we can transform lives, empower the next generation, and advance the industry. Donate here: https://bit.ly/3oHmo2z Thank you to everyone who has supported us this year.

🧠 **Raising Awareness for Motor Neuron Disease (MND)** 🧠 Motor Neuron Disease (MND) is a progressive neurological condition that impacts the lives of thousands in our community, affecting motor neurons that control voluntary muscles. This debilitating disease leads to muscle weakness, paralysis, and eventually, difficulty in speaking, swallowing, and breathing. The effects of MND ripple through families and communities, creating emotional, physical, and financial challenges. Patients require comprehensive care and support, and caregivers often face immense pressure. Our community's resilience shines through in these trying times, but more awareness and support are crucial. We need to unite in supporting those affected by MND through fundraising, volunteering, and advocating for better healthcare resources. Together, we can drive research efforts towards finding a cure and provide much-needed hope and assistance to families battling this relentless disease. Join us in raising awareness and supporting our community members affected by MND. Every effort counts. 💙 #MND #MotorNeuronDisease #Healthcare #CommunitySupport #HopeForACure #Awareness

Anaphora needs your help! Anaphora is a non-profit orthodox media ministry offering divine liturgies, sermons, podcasts, songs and much more to provide those seeking a transformative experience the opportunity to immerse themselves in wisdom, prayer, and enlightenment. The funds donated will go towards infrastructure development of the platform and the extensive costs of server maintenance and security updates. We rely solely on the generosity of people like you to provide the service to the many who rely on it. The costs of development are significant, but the benefits this ministry provides are innumerable. Your donations will immediately go towards the development of a necessary upgrade to our system to keep the application running. The current build can no longer be updated which means it can no longer remain on the iOS or Android stores. The required development costs for this infrastructure total nearly $85,000, while annual server costs are approximately $25,000. The upgrades are already well underway, but we need your help for milestone payments to release the current build on iOS and to begin Android development. As part of this commitment, Anaphora is developed it’s incredible library of exclusive content and expanding into more and newer services to help reach the depth and breadth of those who seek God’s words. If you know anyone who wants to donate to this cause, please share the following GoFundMe campaign https://lnkd.in/gyyCdaGF

OpenAI published a post about evaluating their corporate structure to better support their mission of ensuring AGI benefits humanity - OpenAI's Board is planning to transform their for-profit into a Delaware Public Benefit Corporation (PBC) to enable raising more capital, strengthen the non-profit, and advance their mission - The Board states they need more capital than possible through donations, as major companies are now investing hundreds of billions in AI development, making conventional equity terms necessary - The plan will convert the non-profit's current interest in the for-profit into PBC shares at fair value, which they say will multiply their donors' resources - The PBC will manage OpenAI's operations while the non-profit will pursue charitable work in healthcare, education, and science with what they describe as "one of the best resourced non-profits in history" https://lnkd.in/dRMru2XV

❤️❤️ A good news update ❤️❤️ Remember our gingerbread houses….??!! There is something I’m really good at 💡 IDEAS 💡 This was my idea, stood looking at them All on the table and pondering what to do with them all, it just popped out of my mouth Mat Burke made it happen I have been asked many times in varying situations including interviews ‘what are you really good at?’ I’m really good at ideas But it always feels like that’s a really lame answer, even though it’s the truth I have ADHD (diagnosed at 43) My brain works at 100 miles an hour It is full of ideas Over the years I have become more confident to share them, at the risk of sometimes not being taken seriously There isn’t always room for creativity on a team. There is room for people who follow processes, who can write plans and put things neatly in boxes, but not always people who take the lid off the box and let a whole load of crazy escape I am that girl The lid will come off In less than 5 minutes this went from an idea to a plan - that’s what I do There was some effort and logistical challenge moving them carefully to their destination, and there was Ofcourse the willingness of the team at the hospice to take delivery of a gingerbread world But our delivery team in store rose to the challenge and packed them carefully, and the hospice embraced the random phone call from me connecting them with the store via a contact I had made only a few weeks earlier (Caroline Peach)when I served their head of retail on my till; as any good fundraiser can do in less than 5 minutes I got a background story and connected on Linked in, the rest is history ☺️ Share the idea Take the lid off the box Ask the questions Embrace your curiosity You NEVER know where it will take you Or when it will help to transport a gingerbread village ❤️ #fundraising #networks #connection #engagement #curiosity #logistics #community #tesco #communication #redundancy #neurodiversity #adhd #neurodiversityatwork
A big thank you to Tesco Wragby Road for generously donating their gingerbread houses to our Inpatient Unit 💛 They had a competition to decorate gingerbread houses which were then donated to our Nettleham Road Inpatient Unit on Christmas Eve. Thank you for your kindness this Christmas!

Thrilled to share with my LI friends that I will be running with the Mass General Brigham Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital for the 2025 Boston Marathon!! With the time spent re-learning how to walk, talk, read and write at the Spaulding Center he was able to live comfortably for a few more years close to his family. I am honored to be able to give back as his legacy lives on. ❤️ I need YOUR help as I take on this challenge!! I would greatly appreciate if you would join me in donating or resharing this post to directly support the Ross D. Zafonte Presidents Fund, commited to the most suppressing needs of the hospital. I have to share this post for two reasons. One is that I am a proud trustee for Humanimal Trust and really believe in One Medicine for humans and animals (watch the video - Noel explains it better). The second is that I know how many will appreciate how ridiculously cute Noel’s cat, Richochet, is! #onemedicine #humanimaltrust
Happy 10th Birthday Humanimal Trust!! Today, 6th May, we are celebrating our 10th birthday, the day our charity was founded by Professor Noel Fitzpatrick back in 2014. This day is now known as One Medicine Day. We want to thank each and every one of you for your support and dedication for the charity. You are all amazing! Without you we simply would not be here. Thank you from everyone here at Humanimal Trust.
