I always say in my class. leaders create more leaders. As a Mentor, i consider myself as a good leader. I will create more Good Mentor's for sure. when the people are questioning how mentorship can be scaled? no it can not be..... Mentorship has been always 1-1 concept , it will always be ...... but yes, you can create more mentors. Unlike famous Mentors, my mentorship do not ends with course. it goes beyond the boundaries.... i have accepted I can't help everyone...but if I am mentoring you.... I will be right behind your back in tough times so one of my mentee was struggling with some career decisions. she was in dilemma... I thought... I had to intervene....but but but thanks to people like Siddhartha Warwade and Rishika Gaur ... I need not... "matlb mere mentees ne mere another mentee ki ek mentor ban k help ki" leader create leaders who can replace him... you guys just replaced me for that particular instance.... super proud on both of you. btw Rishika Gaur how does it feel... being recognised as 'Didi'....i hope it gives same feeling like 'Sandeep bhaiya'... idiots will not get this post... tum ek teacher / mentors se uske student ni chheen skte... baki chankya ne shi kha h.... Chinese philosopher Lao Tzu once said "give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach him how to fish and you feed him for a lifetime". His philosophy remains relevant till date and I feel it's forever. When I see this from a leadership point of view, it is nothing but Mentoring your team. Often leaders or people who have recently got promoted get confused how they can help someone and mentor them. First and foremost - Remember that you were in that position one day and what you needed the most was for a person to be "patient" with you. Be patient with your mentees. Second - Focus on how they can be independent? Developing the mentee's abilities is more important than dumping the work on them. Third - Review the Progress or failures or mindset of the mentees. This is where you will not only gain their confidence on you but they will be more confident about you. This helps build the relationship and also respect for each other. Fourth - Help them to solve problems by assigning the right projects to them and ensuring they see success in what you are doing. The moment they can solve problems, they can become an asset to any team. A thinking and solving team member is an asset and imagine you developing such assets! Fifth - Let them stay grounded. Teach them humility. Everything is temporary. Success or failure. What are the problems you have faced as a mentor? How have you developed your mentees? Do share your comments and let us discuss. #proverb #mentoring #mentors #success #developingpeople

As a leader or mentor, how clear are you about your expectations? Setting expectations isn't about exercising command or control; it's about establishing a standard for collaboration, fostering open communication, and building trusted relationships. When expectations aren't clear, resentment can build, which undermines the foundation of trust essential for any relationship. Mentorship is a powerful practice for developing leadership skills. By clearly setting expectations with your mentee, you create clarity and trust, setting the stage for a well-aligned mentorship relationship. In the blog linked below, we delve into how to reflect on your expectations as a mentor. Once your expectations are clear, it becomes easier to communicate them effectively to your mentee. The same applies to any leadership role. https://lnkd.in/gfm6FTeJ #mentorship #leadership #oneuponedown

For those striving for greatness and eager to learn, here are a few key principles to keep in mind. Ego often becomes a barrier, making it difficult to connect with accomplished individuals—especially if they’re elders or if one believes their academic credentials are enough. True growth and success come from putting aside ego, embracing lifelong learning, and seeking knowledge from those thriving in their fields. Humility and openness to learning from others are essential to unlocking your full potential and achieving your goals. #ProfessionalGrowth #ContinuousLearning #CareerDevelopment #Leadership #Humility #Success #Motivation #PersonalDevelopment #Networking #Mentorship
