10th Annual State of the Aerotropolis ✈️ ✅ 🎉 Last week, Aerotropolis Atlanta Alliance, Inc celebrated 10 years of regional partnership and collaboration for South Fulton and Clayton County region surrounding Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport 🛫 Special THANK YOU to all of our sponsors, attendees and participants who really poured into us for a SOLD OUT #SOTA24. Kim Greene with Georgia Power Company delivered an authentic and thoughtful keynote address about the many ways Georgia Power and Atlanta Gas Light are committed to our communities and corporations. We celebrated another massive win for our region through collaboration with our All-Star panel discussion with ARC, Tri-City Mayors and Clayton County about “Finding The Flint Gateway Trails”. We acknowledged the hard work of our many stakeholders who are pushing this special project forward, but none more special than Hannah Palmer 💐 The room was electric, as we celebrated the official release of Blueprint 2.0 (https://lnkd.in/eb5mFH4k) including exclusive announcement of our future headquarters. My SOTA speech ended with a quote from Nelson Mandela: “In order to bring about change, we must change. We cannot expect different results by continuing old practices”. Our approach towards regionalism is a new way to combat our old challenges. Disrupting old narratives and best practices about what’s possible South of I-20 and we’ve proven that over the past 10yrs last week.
