Since January, we’ve been fine-tuning the West Weber Project Area plan, incorporating valuable insights from our stakeholders. Located near major transport routes like Interstate 15 and Union Pacific rail facilities, this 9,000-acre area is poised for strategic development. We’ve especially focused on environmental concerns, engaging with experts and organizations such as the Department of Natural Resources. Next week, we'll present our comprehensive Wetlands Strategy, as part of our overall West Weber Project Area Plan, to our board for adoption, ensuring that every decision we make prioritizes ecological integrity. As Ben Hart, our executive director, emphasized at last Friday's Friends of Great Salt Lake - 2024 Issues Forum, "There will be those who ask, 'how many of the wetlands do you want to protect?' All of them. And if we can't protect them, we're certainly not going to enable their destruction." Learn more about our commitment to sustainability and view the draft of our Wetlands Strategy here: https://lnkd.in/ge-8JFmB

Good news from the east coast yesterday, in Milan, our majority shareholder outlined the operational path that should lead our company to open a representative branch in the United States, in the city of Washington DC, in 2025. An interesting meeting which was also attended by one of our Directors, Tommaso Molinari, who will work together with our majority shareholder, Valerio Molinari, to start all the commercial activities necessary for our company to enter the United States. The focus for the next three years will be at least 6 states on the east coast where we will have a multidisciplinary, scientific and operational approach which will be oriented towards new maintenance techniques for green works along the country's transport infrastructure and which will see the mission of reviewing existing maintenance plans, adapting them to the impact of climate change. A compelling challenge from which our group will not shy away !!
