Wishing my network a Joyous Holiday Season! Our global #SmartMobility team decided to make this December a bit more exciting and insightful by creating our own countdown calendar with the theme "Future of Highways". The calendar features 24 short stories exploring the evolution we’ve already witnessed, expectations for the near future, and a few out-of-the-box ideas as well. In a nutshell, we believe there are three main drivers shaping the industry: digitization, sustainability, and cost optimization. At the same time, we see transportation and mobility moving towards electrification, automation, and shared (/new) services. Our calendar and its 24 stories aim to shed some light on these drivers and transformations. We hope this initiative brings some cheer to your Holiday season and sparks food for thought as we head into 2025!
