Thinking about (or already going for) an Executive Health Assessment from clinics like Cleveland Clinic Canada and Medcan? There is one key point about these powerful assessments that you need to think about...While they help prevent and diagnose health issues as early as possible, most issues lead you back to the challenged Canadian public healthcare system. It is common for Cleveland Clinic patients to be referred to their top hospitals in the US, paying hundreds of thousands of dollars for the best treatments and specialists, without delays. For one monthly premium that competes with the retail cost of only an assessment, the BYOND Private Health Plan includes not only that same assessment at the clinic of your choice, but then access to CT or MRI in days, and $1M per year to access private care, and much more. Take full control of your health. Contact your SC Insurance Advisor for the BYOND rate sheet or more information. www.byondhealth.ca #privatehealthcare #executivehealth #benefits
At Cleveland Clinic Canada, we put patients first. Our Executive Health Program helps you put your health first and maximize your time. Throughout your day of care, you will meet with a variety of our expert providers, including a physician, nurse, dietitian, exercise physiologist, and a member of our psychology team who will help you understand your health and provide important tips to improve your overall health and wellness. Learn more and take a virtual tour here. https://lnkd.in/g6VUVkVt Here is what one patient had to say about the care they received during their Executive Health Assessment.

With 'patient engagement' continuing as an enduring buzz phrase in health IT, we see a continuos stream of point solutions from hospital TV companies to mobile ED apps to chat bots. Little point solutions delivering little anecdotal outcomes while clinical and business pressures mount for executive leaders and disjointed solutions and costs pile up. Get Well moved beyond its own point solutions to create the industry's first enterprise consumer engagement platform - GetWell 360 - to drive patient activation, navigation and retention. The results are in! These numbers are not typos: - 90 communities across CA, WA, OR and HI; 400+ sites of care - 1.5m+ patients - 20m+ automate interactions complemented by 400k+ custom virtual interactions by GetWell Navigators - $100m+ net patient revenue in <24 months! These statistics are NOT across the entire company, this is a single Get Well client partner taking a strategic, enterprise approach to digital engagement. Thank you Adventist Health Jennifer Stemmler Jason Wells, MBA, CMPE, FACHE for leaning in, putting consumers first and pushing innovation, patient love and ROI as the clear North Star. We are proud to be on this journey with you. #platformoverpointsolution

One of the most challenging parts of being a physician on call during the holidays is finding the balance between practicing evidence-based medicine and helping patients achieve what matters most to them—especially when those goals involve spending cherished moments with their loved ones. For some patients, this may be their last holiday with family, and we do everything we can to honor their wishes while ensuring they receive the best care possible. Whether it’s attending a special event, participating in a beloved tradition, or simply being home with family, every patient’s goals and priorities are unique. Deciding whether to discharge someone early, delay chemotherapy to minimize side effects during the holidays, or prioritize comfort over the ‘standard of care’ is never straightforward. This is where the art of medicine comes in—collaborating with patients to find a path forward that respects their goals while delivering compassionate, high-quality care. It’s a process that hinges on trust and open, honest communication. As physicians, we work to create a space where patients feel heard, valued, and empowered to take part in the decision-making process. Medicine is about more than just treatments; it’s about people. And during the holidays, that truth resonates even more deeply. Take the time to talk to your doctor, share your goals, and ask questions. Trust and connection are at the core of great care. 💙 #HolidayCare #ArtOfMedicine #CompassionateCare #PatientCenteredCare #WomenInMedicine #WIMStrongerTogether #PhysicianLife

The holiday season is meant to be a time of joy, connection, and celebration. But for patients managing chronic conditions or complex health challenges, it can also bring added stress. At Perigon Pharmacy 360, we understand that health doesn’t take a holiday—and neither does the need for compassionate care. That’s why we focus on making every patient interaction a meaningful one, especially during this busy time of year. Here’s how we bring empathy into action to support patients during the holidays: 1️⃣ Listening First: The holidays can amplify worries about medication timing, side effects, or access. We take the time to listen and address each patient’s unique concerns, ensuring they feel heard and valued. 2️⃣ Proactive Support: From helping patients plan ahead for holiday closures to offering tips for medication adherence during travel, our team anticipates their needs so nothing falls through the cracks. 3️⃣ Removing Barriers: We simplify processes like prescription refills and approvals, ensuring patients can focus on their health and their families. 4️⃣ Building Trust Through Care: A warm conversation can make a big difference. We strive to be a source of reassurance and encouragement during what can be a challenging time. The holidays remind us of the importance of community, connection, and care—values we aim to reflect in every patient experience. “Taking Care of Your Health is Never Time Wasted” I’ll be honest: having a colonoscopy was a scary thought. The unknowns, the discomfort—it’s something I was dreading. But here’s the truth: the experience turned out to be straightforward, and I am so relieved I went through with it. I want to take a moment to thank the incredible team at Worcester Hospital. Their professionalism, friendliness, and genuine care made all the difference. They didn’t just perform a procedure—they put me at ease and made what felt intimidating become manageable. For anyone experiencing symptoms or putting off getting checked, let me say this: don’t wait. From someone who doesn’t particularly enjoy discussing medical “stuff,” I can’t emphasize enough how relieved I feel now. The peace of mind is priceless, and early detection is key. Thankfully, I got the all-clear, and I’m grateful for the chance to move onwards and upwards with my health intact. If you’re hesitating, take this as your sign: your health matters, and anything is best caught early. Be proactive, take care of yourself, and trust the experts to guide you through. You’ve got this!
