Part 3: Success Stories and Broader Impact Post Title: Enhancing Rehabilitation with the Gait Harness System: Success Stories and Broader Impact Post Content: In the final part of our series, we share inspiring success stories and discuss the broader impact of using the Gait Harness System (GHS). Success Stories: Overcoming the Hump I have numerous examples of people overcoming significant challenges, regaining their function with the support of a dedicated therapy team from home and in the clinic. One such person is Knute. Knute was 11 years old when he experienced a traumatic brain injury following an automobile accident. He had not walked since, being at high risk for falls. Twenty-two years later, Knute began his journey with the GHS. Knute learned to walk again without any braces or computerized assistance, safely with trained family members and staff members using the GHS. He began walking just a few steps and now walks up to 800 feet per session. After 23 wheelchair-bound years, Knute has made remarkable progress in a short period of time and continues to surpass expectations. His story is a testament to the power of consistent, challenging therapy and the GHS’s role in providing the necessary support for overground training. Knute experienced the stimulation and sensation of sensory feedback with his feet on the ground and moving his legs, which were critical in helping him get over the hump. Knute’s success is a powerful example of the progress that can be achieved when patients are challenged at the level they need. The Bigger Picture According to pre-COVID data from the CDC, about 40 million people in the home are confined or need help walking every day. This number has likely increased due to COVID-related health issues that have affected people's ability to walk since 2020. There is so much more that can be done for these individuals, and the GHS is a crucial tool in this effort. Conclusion While initial hesitation is natural, the overwhelming evidence and extensive experience with the GHS highlight that there is no better time to start using the system than right now. By doing so, you can take a significant step towards helping your patients regain their mobility and independence. ⚠️Client Progress Update ⚠️ Super proud of this bloke! When Rhyds came to me he was a little lost. He had just left the Military and lacked structure and purpose. Which is common amongst most veterans. Rhyds was unhappy with the way he looked and it was spilling over into his inner circle ( wife and kid) On top of that he had an injured knee that was awaiting surgery. Once we both decided it was a good fit to work together, I swiftly formulated a plan. Here's what I did: ✅️ Formulated a nutrition strategy that meant Rhyds could eat with his family, not feel like he was on a diet and still lose fat. ✅️ Build a workout routine from home that didn't take up all his time, but build muscle around is knee and strengthening it. Alongside side cardio that Rhyds enjoyed, which enabled him to feel more confident in his ability. ✅️ Restructure his routine so he could by sometime back and also focus on what was important. We also built mindset habits and tactics to allow Rhyds to be more productive and positive. Rhyds also dropped 18 pounds of fat and lost 21cm of his hip and waist 🔥 I am looking forward to seeing what the next stage is in your journey together. If any of this resonated with you and you want to achieve similar results. Send me a message with the word "CHANGE" and I will get back to you! Let's see what the best version of you looks like 💪🙏 #clienttestimonial #clientsatisfaction #onlinecoach #veteranowned #fitness #strength #goalsettingforsuccess #fitnessjourney #fatlossjourney #dothework #mindsetmatters #fatlosstips #veterans

Why Pitchers Need the NEUBIE & DNS Rehab Combo ⚡️⚾️ We’re prepping this pitcher for the upcoming season using the NEUBIE by @neufitrfp @neupttech combined with DNS Rehab (@dnsrehabilitation). Here’s why it’s a game-changer: ⚡️ Neurological Activation: The NEUBIE helps activate the right muscles, boosting control and power where it matters most—without overloading the arms and shoulders. ⚡️ Improved Hip & Trunk Mobility: Most pitchers struggle with upper body overuse because of poor hip mobility. DNS targets those areas to ensure better movement patterns from the ground up. ⚡️ Enhanced Throwing Mechanics: This approach helps develop a stable core, linking arm control, hip function, and trunk stability for smoother, more powerful throws. By combining NEUBIE's electrical stimulation with DNS’s focus on functional movement, we’re building stronger, more efficient pitchers—ready to dominate the mound! 💪 Want to step up your game? ⚾️ Book your session with us and get ahead this season! Click the link in our bio to learn more about how the NEUBIE and DNS can take your pitching to the next level. 🚀 #PhysioBalance #AkronOhio #greenohio #cantonohio #physiotpr #physiotherapy #physioBSP #sportsinjury #prehab #physicaltherapyclinic #dnsrehabilitation #neubie

How do you know an athlete or client is ready to get back to what they love doing? It's not always easy, and having some objective measures is also valuable, but to answer the question, you still need to work through a scale of progressive demand. You want to add layers of demand. In this video, I take you through a process of layering demand on an injured knee with a slopestyle skier. Absorption, higher degrees of torque, propulsion, higher degrees of torque, and then combined actions. The same could be applied to the single leg as well. Thank you NESA WORLD 🌍 and Venn Healthcare for an amazing experience and introduction in the use of non-invasive neuro modulation microcurrent technology for the rebalancing of the autonomic nervous system NESA Xsignal is transforming sports performance by providing a competitive edge through advanced neuromodulation. Using intelligent microcurrents, it targets the autonomic nervous system (ANS), enhancing neuroplasticity to reset and rebalance the body. This results in faster recovery 🏃♂️, reduced muscle fatigue 💪, and optimised performance ⚡. Top football clubs and elite athletes in basketball and cycling are adopting NESA to improve heart rate variability (HRV), which reflects better stress resilience, along with enhancing sleep quality 💤 and speeding up muscle recovery. By stimulating key nerves in the hands and feet, NESA helps regulate the ANS, boosting recovery and performance after intense training. #NESA #SportsScience #Neuromodulation #CompetitiveEdge #HRV #FasterRecovery #AutonomicNervousSystem #EliteAthletes #Football #GameChanger #sleepquality NESA WORLD #mensHealth #portable #sleep #chronicpain
