As AS turns 17 in 2025, our CEO and founder, John Vaguero, reflects on the wonderful journey of where AS started to where it is today.
The road was not perfect and we wouldn't be here without the help and support of the people around him - from his wife and family, to our past and present team, and to all our incredible clients.
We are filled with gratitude and we can't wait to crush another year with you. 🚀

I'm so excited to share that Adapting Social is getting its license this year, Adapting Socialist turning 17 and it's such an incredible honor. I'm so excited about it. It's it's surreal really to think about the earlier days and you know, the start of the business and being, you know, young, young teenager, just trying to help my family and, you know, hiring some pretty incredible people on the team, getting some really incredible clients and scaling to now where we are here today in 20. Countries serving clients from Fortune 500 to, you know, the small amount of pops around not just America, but twenty countries around the world. I'm just so grateful. And take a moment to thank, you know, number one, I want to thank my family, starting with my beautiful wife, who is been a huge fundamental supporter. There's been so many times where I'm not at dinner and an event or I'm not present because I'm, I'm on calls or I'm doing this and doing that. And she's always been such amazing support as well as obviously being our CFO. Helping us, you know, manage and grow our revenue. I also want to give a quick shout out to my grandma Joni, right? Grandma Joni was the first bookkeeper back in the day. You know, she was the person who was managing the books and asking me 25,000 questions when I had no idea what was what. I was just trying to get new business in. It's a big shout out to her. She believed in me and I remember she helped me finance my first laptop. You know, back in the day, I couldn't afford it. She was like, let's go get it. We're going to Best Buy and I got my first MacBook and I'll never forget that. I love her so much. For that, I want to thank all of my family, my parents. You know, for always supporting me as well and for, you know, not pushing me down. A lot of times it's easy when you're going through something new, you're trying to start something for the people around you to not intentionally try to say don't do this or detract you, but they do it because they love you. They want to see you fail and forgive you. My first office in my parents basement and the unfinished part of the basement in good old birth town. So I'm really grateful for them for that. And I want to focus on the team, all the team here, Chris, Megan, Jack, you know. Kate Morris There's so many people here, Michelle, there's so many great people here that have been social. I could go all day long. I'm so grateful because, you know, we wouldn't be able to do what we do without our team. Again, the past team got us to where, you know, where we were, where we needed to be. And the current team, you know, is, is helping us help our clients succeed when build revenue, build brand and ultimately help their customers win. And so I'm just so grateful for our team to help us do that. And of course, my clients, you know, over the past 17 years. They worked with so many amazing, amazing people, brands, businesses, everything between for our clients to give us the the actual honor of serving their business is the highest honor for me I'll ever have in my life. Most businesses that we're working with is how they make their livelihood. You know this how they feed their kids, they put their kids through college, how they pay their mortgages, how they do the things they do. And for you, giving, adapting social, that blessing of an opportunity to serve your business is just the highest honor that I'll ever have. And I'm so grateful for it. I hope everybody has an amazing new year. I'm super excited the opportunity that we have another year to serve more business owners, help brands win, help brands grow revenue. That's what I'm so grateful for. Guys, thank you so much. I'm so grateful and I can't wait to crush it.
