Happy Neurodiversity Week! Celebrating the strengths and talents of the neurodivergent community at Portico, we are proud of our incredible people and the initiatives we have implemented to champion the neurodivergent community. 26 bespoke sessions have been held for employees by the L&D team, including ‘Learning for Dyslexia and Dyscalculia’. In January, we launched our first Learning and Development Session centred on neurodiversity with the brilliant Dr David Bevens FIoL. Our recently launched diversity committee with Benugo and Searcys, ‘Enlight’, will also be forming a Neurodiversity Employee Network Group. Another exciting evolution has been the roundtable model of delivering training, offering discussion forums around a central theme. The aim is to hear different voices, thoughts, experiences and ideas. One recent roundtable we delivered was ‘Different Types of Brilliance’, which focused on celebrating individuality, appreciating different types of excellence. Our incredible teams show their brilliance, talents, abilities and intelligence in many different ways. We are delighted to have recently achieved the ‘Accredited Learning Department’ status from The The LPI (Learning and Performance Institute), stating that “culture stands out as one of Portico's strongest attributes and your unwavering commitment to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) and mental wellbeing is noteworthy...You are going above and beyond to ensure learning is a fundamental element to an employee's experience and forms part of the organisational DNA.” These exciting developments are all part of a wider effort of inclusivity and diversity across Portico, and we are proud of the advancements we are achieving! . . . I LOVE life! Therefore I appreciate all that I still have to give, experience, savor, and experience. I love the wisdom I have from living, and am still ambitious, driven and passionate about my career and work - not in spite of my age but because of my purpose and again, because of my love of life and living. This is why, I ask that those who hire, partner up and buy from people, check themselves and their possible undue bias in age- whether too young or too old. Think in terms of what you would benefit form the person- skills, capabilities, experience, know-how, education/knowledge or training in that area, passion --- any of the hard and soft qualities you are looking for and remember- age is not a quality. It is data. It's what is inside that range of years of living that matter. As a Habit Coach, how about we make it a true habit to check ourselves for hints of (or blatant) agism, and dispel it. One way or another, it'll work in your favor. #ageismmustgo #Laborday #ageismisneverinstyle #agism #lifecoach #careertransitioncoach #midlife #csuite #habitsofsuccess
Keynote Speaker, Writer, Trainer and Consultant committed to Slaying the #Ageism Dragon. ™️ Topics: Ageism | Reframing Aging | Creating Age-Friendly Workplaces | Benefits to Business & Brands of Being Age-Inclusive
My #LaborDay quest, and what I do every day: Champion the benefits of #OlderWorkers and #IntergenerationalTeams. Let's #EndAgeism, shall we? We'll do better for ourselves, our workplaces, our economy.

Happy Tuesday from #LBBEdutainment!🌟 When teams feel safe to share ideas, ask questions, and take risks without fear of judgment or backlash, magic happens.✨ This sense of psychological safety isn't just a "nice-to-have"—it's essential for building high-performing, creative, and resilient teams. Research by Google’s Project Aristotle found that psychological safety is the #1 factor in determining team success. Teams that feel safe to express themselves are more likely to innovate, solve problems collaboratively, and meet challenges head-on. 💡 Here’s why this matters: ✔️ Creativity thrives in safe spaces—Diverse perspectives flourish when people feel respected, heard, and valued. ✔️ Trust builds unity—Psychological safety encourages openness, fostering stronger bonds and mutual respect, even in disagreement. ✔️ Growth becomes possible—Mistakes are seen as opportunities for learning, not punishment. Imagine a workplace where differences are celebrated, ideas are shared freely, and challenges become stepping stones for growth. Creating such spaces requires intention and commitment to fostering mutual respect and empathy. 🔑 Here’s your takeaway: Psychological safety empowers individuals and teams to bring their whole selves to the table. It’s not just about inclusion—it’s about building a culture where diversity of thought drives innovation and unity creates strength. 🌟 Are you ready to do the work and create spaces where everyone feels safe to risk and create? Start today. Your team—and the world—will thank you!🌍 • • • • • #TuesdayTips #Tuesday #PsychologicalSafety #LeadershipDevelopment #EmployeeEngagement #CultureAssessment #EmbraceUniqueness #CelebrateEveryVoice #DEIB #Diversity #Equity #Inclusion #Belonging #Empathy #CompanyCulture #Humanrights #CeaseFireNow #LiberationForAll #Equality #Value #Advocacy #CorporateCulture #Consultant #Businessowner #ColumbusOhio #UnitedStates #LBBEdutainment

DJ Casto, this is a perfect example of value creation at Synchrony. In talent acquisition, we often focus on placing top candidates into great companies, but rarely do we highlight the individuals who are promoted multiple times and drive a company's continued success. It’s one thing to talk about placements, but it’s another to see how strategic hiring fuels business growth and transformation. During my long partnership with GE Capital, now Synchrony, we prided ourselves in matching top talent during their significant transformation and focused on finding leaders capable of navigating its evolving landscape. Leveraging my network and HR expertise, we placed over 15 executives and we’ve been champions of diversity and inclusion long before it became a widespread industry focus. In fact, we started this important work back in 1987 with Jack Welch at GE Capital, understanding early on that value creation goes hand-in-hand with fostering an inclusive, joyful workplace. Our approach has always been about more than just filling positions—it’s about placing talented people who bring joy and happiness to their roles, empowering them to grow and succeed. Being at the forefront of culture has always been our mission because I’ve always believed that you need to build a strong foundation before you can build a lasting home. Take a look at the diverse group of candidates who were promoted multiple times and are still driving the company’s success and remarkable growth: Marissa Lara – SVP HR, played a key role in supporting Synchrony’s workforce for over a decade and aligning talent strategies with business goals. Venicha D. – SVP HR, instrumental in guiding GE Capital through its rebranding to Synchrony Financial. Her leadership continues to shape the company's culture and strategy today. Fanaye Taye – VP HR, her 7 years of expertise in HR has been crucial in fostering a dynamic and inclusive work environment, ensuring that Synchrony attracts and retains top talent. Gaurav Sehgal – SVP HR Asia, an expert in transforming people strategy for high-growth, customer-centric organizations across multiple industries, with success across startups, Fortune 20 firms, and international markets. Amar Malik – GM/VP, Sales & Client Development - Vision & Hearing, CareCredit, 9 years driving significant growth in CareCredit’s Vision & Hearing division, expanding its reach and impact in the healthcare sector. Sih Lee – SVP, Payment Technology, New Business, and Innovation, forward-thinking approach has been instrumental in advancing Synchrony’s payment technology and driving innovation in new business areas for our over 9 years. Gavish Singla – VP, helped Synchrony remain at the forefront of financial services for over 5 years, particularly in his role in enhancing operational efficiencies. #ValueCreation #TalentAcquisition #LeadershipDevelopment #WorkplaceCulture #Synchrony #LongTermGrowth #TalentRetention #ExecutiveSearch #MarkEnlowInc
We’re proud to be named once again on PEOPLE Magazine | PEOPLE.com’s Companies That Care list. From benefits that support total well-being, to a culture of belonging, to giving back to the communities we serve through the Synchrony Foundation and Education as an Equalizer program, our employees make Synchrony a place where care drives everything we do. https://gosyf.com/4dUpzfp #SynchronyLife #GPTWCertified

Embracing the Future: Creating a More Inclusive Community As we look to the future, how can we create more inclusive communities that embrace neurodiversity? It can start with an important realization: We all desire and crave belonging. This universal need transcends backgrounds, abilities, and experiences. It doesn't matter who you are or where you come from; feeling valued and included is a cornerstone of our human experience. An essential part of AbilityPath's mission is to build a better future for the individuals and families we serve. We recognize that to achieve this, everyone must actively work towards understanding and embracing neurodiversity. Each person's unique way of thinking, learning, and perceiving the world brings invaluable perspectives that enrich our communities and workplaces. * Educate Ourselves and Others: Knowledge is the first step towards acceptance. Let's commit to learning about neurodiversity and sharing that knowledge with others. * Create Safe Spaces: Develop environments where everyone feels safe to express their true selves without fear of judgment or exclusion. * Celebrate Differences: Acknowledge and celebrate the unique strengths and talents that each individual brings to the table. Fostering an inclusive mindset uplifts those around us and opens the door to innovation, creativity, and collective growth. Let's work together to build communities where everyone can thrive and feel a true sense of belonging. Together, we can make a difference. #Neurodiversity #InclusiveCommunity #Belonging #FutureFocused #CompassionateLeadership #AbilityPath #CampViaWest

𝐇𝐞𝐲 𝐋𝐢𝐧𝐤𝐞𝐝𝐈𝐧 𝐟𝐚𝐦, 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭'𝐬 𝐢𝐭 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐚𝐭 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐅𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞? We constantly aspire to be a workplace that fosters creativity, growth, and pure awesomeness, and we wanted to share what it's like to be part of the Bright Future family through Swati's eyes. 🔊𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐅𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐕𝐨𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬: 𝐒𝐰𝐚𝐭𝐢 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭 Swati Shares: "Bright Future works on livelihood projects and is always involved in community development. I genuinely like working on both community development and youth development at the same time. Bright Future always guides employers to identify neighborhood issues and works to overcome community difficulties. Thanks to Bright Future Organization, I have acquired skills like problem-solving, overcoming obstacles, and working in community development, which constantly strives to grow employers. The Learning & Development team also conducts training for employees' development. The training helped me build many skills that will benefit my growth. Being part of community development and witnessing the journey of youth transformation is what is like the most about working with Bright Future. It is amusing to grow while guiding youth to grow. The organization always stays in touch with alumni, organizes ideas for the development of alumni, offers alumni-specific training and get-together activities, and works on a variety of projects. I gained knowledge that will help me in my professional development. I have created connections that will stay with me throughout. Organizational principles allowed me to develop both personally and professionally. The organization's culture encourages coordination, collaboration, integrity, accountability, and leadership. These values are actively embraced by the organization. Kishor Palve, CEO of the organization individually discusses future initiatives with the field team, shares his opinions, and mentors their staff on how to work for the youth's future transformation. The organization is the only one that consistently works to empower women employees." Thanks for the kind words, Swati! You're a shining testament to the passionate, future-ready talent we're building our rocket ship with. Thanks for being a part of the Bright Future journey! #EmployeeSpotlight #BrightFuture #employeereview #workplaceculture #values
