Hiring non-stop. This time Enflux is looking for a bright marketing head who will help us structure every funnel already in place, and together with me and Mark Sapolinski build new funnels. Please tag/drop a message if you want to join the team. I suggest you choose wisely, for you can truly commit only once before the bull comes and goes. Once locked in, there are no exits. It’s all the way up. What is in it for you? - 4X the team size in 6 months - Total revenue is up 500% (out of the blue sky but conservative) - Flexible setup, no micromanagement, and carte blanche to experiment with strategies, off-chain and on-chain - A strong flow of ambitious partners and clients who stand for sustainable business driven by fundamentals. - Conferences Interview is twofold: 1. Face control, a.k.a. vibe check. Let’s verify is we align on values and vision first. 2. Professionalism check a.k.a. discuss expectations of both sides, and clarify if your experience is relevant/you have what it takes to deliver. Learning curve is acceptable to some extent. If everything is good, we finalize details with the founders and start rocking together. See you soon, warrior.

When hiring a marketing agency, here are a few things you need to have a deep understanding of when vetting a potential partner: Finding an agency is EASY finding a great agency is HARD. 1. WHO will you actually be working with? Oftentimes in the sales process, you'll talk to the smartest or one of the smartest people or people within the company. This can be an indicator of the quality, but one of the biggest complaints I hear from brands is that they went from an A-level talent in the sales process to a very junior-level talent or intern. 2. If you do find out you're assigned to someone with less experience, this isn't a reason to say no immediately. When this happens you need to make sure the agency has amazing SYSTEMS and PROCESSES in place and that you understand and believe in those. Here's a real-world example: Brock Purdy is an AMAZING QB for the San Francisco 49ers and he's proven that. However, he was very "junior-level" on paper when he began starting (he was a rookie and the last pick in the draft). But he was plugged into an amazing system and has thrived. The same can be true when hiring an agency. 3. Regardless of your situation above, I'd ALWAYS ask to talk to some current clients. They don't have an incentive to sell you on the agency so you'll get it straight from them. Hope this helps!

How to avoid the same mistake 9 out of every 10 founders make when hiring a CMO or VP of Marketing for the first time. Most founders assume if a marketing leader has been successful in one company, they will be successful again -- especially if they've worked for a big tech company. What works for one company, might not work for another. When hiring a marketing leader for the first time, you need to know if they were in a similar GTM to you. Their strategy will largely have been dependent on their revenue goal, their new logo target and their average contract value. If you have a high ticket price and a niche market, you need a marketing leader with this pedigree, as the playbooks to win here are very different to someone who has been working with a low ticket solution in a big market. #b2bmarketing #cmo #hiring #demandgen

4K Followers. When I posted yesterday, it wasn't my intention to "farm" followers. Only to do what I always do.. create content that resonates.. and well.. it did. The connections I received yesterday came with a lot of messages. Everyone feeling the same way -- pitch slapped black and blue. Since I've arrived at 4k -- let me reintroduce myself. _______________ My background is in food service and health & fitness (both degrees). I spent a lot of time as a bartender and as a personal trainer. But when I finished my masters it was difficult to land a job with Covid hiring freezes. So I jumped into the remote/digital space with an outbound focused startup -- news flash I'm not using my degrees. You know I just kind of "fell into it" like a lot of us. Lead gen, cold channels, SDR/BDR -- all of this was foreign to me. So I came to LinkedIn to learn because this is where the party's at. From there I helped build systems and processes to scale that startup wearing a lot of hats -- sales, ops, copywriter, lead gen, managed teams, etc. I learned a lot and saw an opportunity to help other businesses.. soo I started a side hustle consulting small businesses with their outbound. From there I've taken on fractional roles that have led to full time roles -- I highly recommend it. It helps you skip the hiring line. Now I'm a Growth Manager for a small kickass agency that has their shit together. What I've learned from my short experience and from those who have a lot of experience is .. There is no straight line to finding success -- you just keep parlaying one opportunity into the next. Work hard, be a good person, communicate well, and always show up. Anyways, thanks to everyone who connected over the last 24hrs. My goal is to learn from each other and help each other grow. Onwards to the next milestone of 5k. #sales

Hiring your first marketer as CEO? 3 simple rules to keep in mind: 1. They have to have carried a pipeline number before. Pipeline is the lifeblood of startups. You need someone who likes to chase targets and can fuel the sales team’s calendar. 2. No corporate marketers. No blank-slate juniors. You need leads and they won’t bring them in. 3. Don’t hire too senior too soon. Forget about hiring the VP or CMO, it’s too early to crown your king/queen before you build a marketing engine that works. (plus they won’t do the actual work anyway) Follow these guardrails as an early-stage founder and you'll save yourself countless hours from interviewing the wrong people.

Pro-tip 💡 for hiring in growth marketing Share your retention curves 👇 along with the #brand description Will help to filter out those who understand #growth from those who don't and serve as a great reality check ✅ To allow for any meaningful growth not to mention #hiring a senior marketing executive the curve should at last flatten. ✅ If the core of acquisition is paid #marketing the curve has to smile 😉
