"When will it be ready?" 😊 Beautiful question. I've heard it for 13 years running Helpjuice. You know what's fascinating? We output more features than any of our competitors. Yet we don't do timelines. We don't estimate delivery dates. We don't play that game. Why? Because perfection is built in moments of clarity, not against a clock. When you chase timelines, you make compromises. And compromises? They're the first step toward mediocrity. When a junior developer is stuck, we let them cook. Let them find their way. The struggle? That's where excellence is born. When someone needs time off? Take it. The code will wait. The servers will wait. Everything will wait. But it'll be ready when it's ready. You see, most people think software is about speed. About rushing to market. About being first. They're wrong. Software is about perfection. About patience. About knowing when to wait and when to move. It takes exactly as long as it takes. #software #leadership #craftsmanship

Creating Software Nobody else can Create! When you are no longer constrained by software development "best practices", new axioms for creating software emerges, because you've opened your mind to seeing the world differently. If you're willing to drop CI/CD, OOP, Git, Teamwork, Design Patterns, DDD, and Unit Testing, while saving straight to production - You're able to find new solutions to old problems, that often are superior to whatever solutions you could come up with using traditional thought patterns. In this video I am demonstrating something that would be impossible to deliver if I hadn't allow myself to violate every single software development "best practice" we've accumulated over the last 50 years.

Starting out in software development? Something that I don't think can be said often enough: It’s important to remember that encountering new errors isn’t necessarily a bad thing. In fact, clearing an error only to find another is truly a sign of progress! Each cleared error brings you one step closer to your goal. So, embrace each iteration—you're moving forward, even if it doesn’t immediately feel that way. #software #developer #juniordeveloper
