Fresh Endeavours | At the end of March, I welcomed change. As some already know, my final day at Stantec was last week. My legacy there centres heavily on bringing a neurodiversity employee resource group (ERG) to life across our Canadian offices, which was only possible because of our committee, support from Stantec’s Gina Weaver and the ND community. I also worked on environmental assessments, permitting and volunteered as our office safety and environment coordinator (OSEC). There were many project experiences earned, received or shared with others. I arranged for some downtime following my departure from Stantec, and I look forward to sharing more about my next role soon. On the day I signed my next employment contract, it converged (unplanned) with my signed offer for a vacant lake lot property - a long time goal finally met. Blessings. The property deal closed today deepening my rural northern Ontario roots. I value the land and water that we enjoy in Canada, and acknowledge the privilege and reconciliation that this country faces. My future northern project work continues, on both a personal and business front, with commitment to improve social conditions where possible. Interweaving this with business is essential and easy. I am lucky to have connected with many unique and likeminded professionals over the years. The inspiration from their inner genius mindsets has inspired me. I am not a long time LinkedIn user, but, to my network that is on here: I think you’re deadly! Groundwork is being laid within this network for innovative ideas and collaboration partering to deliver impactful solutions to clients where they need it most. Curious? DM me - we are doing projects with purpose, and business that empowers all! 🙌🏼✊🏼💪🏼🤜🏼💥 #newbeginnings #outsidethebox #neurodivergentleadership #leadership #inclusion #diversity #equity #neurodiversity #environmental #consulting #goals #innovation #gratitude #integrity #socialgood #values #slayallday

We've created a PDF that highlights that the high cost of living, soaring property prices, and commuting challenges can quickly overshadow the initial excitement of a new position. Companies need to rethink their relocation support strategies to attract and retain talent in this competitive market. Take a look at the PDF below: #TalentAcquisition #TeamTSR #CapeTown
