Appreciation Post! #Itsallaboutyou What an amazing 2 days at our Australian 2024 conference! I'm grateful for the insights gained, the opportunity to meet so many new faces, to connect and grow together. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who played a part in making this event a success and for everyone fostering such a dynamic, engaging, and connected atmosphere. Extra special appreciation goes out to our "stage volunteers" your authenticity and involvement made a significant difference. So many takeaways resonated with me. It's your Presence that matters, One in two of us are going through some type of crisis, be kind, When you’re in the red or black zones do nothing, Do something for someone who can’t give anything back & regain positive energy, Manage your energy, not your time, Give your energy to those that will attend your funeral, To make lasting change, we have to get out of our comfort zones. It is possible for everyone to change (with practice), Positivity is contagious (but so is negativity), To have a high-performance culture, you first have to have a feedback culture, that comes from an appreciation culture, To create meaningful connections, we have to get to know each other, Nod, blink, smile like an idiot 🙂, Learn the language of others to communicate when people are not listening (instead of just getting louder...), Decisions are emotional first and logical second, The more senior you are, the less feedback you get!
