Ever felt like you're the only one faking it till you make it? Well, join the club, I've been the CEO for years! But hey, starting a business is all about challenging yourself, even if it means breaking through the facade. So, picture this: me, the oddball entrepreneur, surrounded by other quirky business owners at a f2f event. Nearly 100 of us, eager to shake things up in our respective industries. We covered everything from ✅ slaying limiting beliefs to ✅ mastering the art of brand strategy, ✅ AI in business ✅ Leadership ✅ Use of video in branding ✅ and personal branding do's and don'ts. But you know what the real highlight was? The chance to connect with other business owners, swapping stories and insights over coffee and lots of it. #coffeeneeded (Because let's face it, no entrepreneur can function without their daily dose of caffeine!) Turns out, we're all in the same boat, trying to navigate the joys of entrepreneurship while pretending we've got it all together. But you know what? Embracing it and letting down the facade felt liberating. Who knew vulnerability could be so empowering? Got a hilarious or cringe-worthy moment from your own entrepreneurial or leadership journey? Share it! Let's laugh (or cringe) together and make this crazy rollercoaster a little more fun. Here's to breaking barriers, embracing authenticity, and finding humour in business. After all, life's too short to take ourselves too seriously, especially when we're all just figuring it out as we go along. #NoOneHasTheirShitTogether

Wow⚡️, creative entrepreneurs are so much fun! Check out a Q&A taking engagement to a whole new level. During a question it was revealed that in addition to founding a company, we had a self-proclaimed Spanish Eminem in the house. Panel moderator Brett Dashevsky jumped up to beatbox and Sebastian Paredes went off, the entire panel and audience went wild ✨⚡️✨ Earlier this week, I attended a Creator Economy NYC event and the panelists shared vulnerabilities and ideas freely. All were very honest about the highs and lows of their journey. For example, many shared that getting laid off was a fantastic opportunity⚡️to go all in. Majority of questions from the audience focused on the disconnect between corporate world jobs and creativity. The advice was to be who you are, even if it isn’t easy, and if corporate can’t support then realize it is a them problem. While we live in challenging times, let’s not lose hope! Engage, organize and be who you are! #creatoreconomy #optimism #entrepreneurship #leadership #connection #engagement #socialmedia

**Don’t Try to Please Everyone ---- Business is Business ** As entrepreneurs, we often think we can be the ultimate crowd-pleasers. I know—I’ve been there, and let me tell you, it’s like trying to juggle flaming torches while riding a unicycle on a tightrope! When I launched my business, I thought, “If I can make everyone happy, I’ll be a superstar!” Spoiler alert: I wasn’t. Here’s what I learned: 1. **Attracting the Wrong Audience**: Trying to please everyone is like dating every person in town. You end up with a mixed bag of crazy! I attracted clients who didn’t align with my values and wondered why I was constantly stressed. 2. **Diluting Your Brand**: In my quest to be everything to everyone, my unique voice vanished faster than pizza at a party. My offerings turned into bland oatmeal—safe but forgettable. 3. **Wasting Precious Time**: The more I tried to cater to everyone, the more I felt like a circus performer—juggling conflicting demands while desperately trying not to drop the ball (or set anything on fire). 4. **The Power of Focus**: I realized that embracing my niche was the key. Not everyone will vibe with your approach, but those who do? They’ll become your biggest fans. It’s like finding your people at a weird art show—suddenly, you’re home! 5. **Staying True to Your Vision**: If I kept reshaping my business based on everyone’s opinions, I’d end up with something that looked like a Picasso—confusing and not really my style! So, embrace your quirks and focus on the clients who resonate with your vision. Remember, it’s okay to let some folks go—your sanity will thank you! If you’ve been on this rollercoaster, I want to hear your stories! #5StarRealEstate #Entrepreneurship #BrandIdentity #BusinessStrategy #Leadership

Before being an entrepreneur, I'm a brand strategist and marketer by trade and qualifications. One of the stages entrepreneurs often overlook is market validation through research, testing and interviews, and more. We sometimes, entrepreneurs, live in lala land and believe so strongly in an idea that we ignore the true desires of prospects. From 3 Colours Rule - Award-Winning Creative Agency, I witnessed so often. 🥲 Doing a pre-launch campaign to test the appetite of your business idea is so crucial to maximise your success, reduce unnecessary expenditure and attract investors. This is how BLACK RISE has attracted +5,500 on a growing list, made revenue pre-launch and secured angel investors even the deck wasn’t ready. I would be sharing new content soon. Remember can have me as a keynote speaker to unleash the entrepreneurship spirit inside each of your employees or audience while sharing my inspirational journey. An Unforgettable Experience: My First Pitching Event! Over the last three days, I had the incredible opportunity to pitch my idea for the first time in a high-energy, collaborative environment. Here’s how the journey unfolded: Day 1: Generating Ideas To form a team with a unified vision, we started by creating a skit to present our idea to colleagues. This was our way of sharing our passion and gaining early support. Day 2: Crafting the Idea We spent the day refining our deck, gaining a deeper understanding of how to effectively communicate the value of our idea to potential investors. It was all about mastering the "how" and "why" behind the pitch. Day 3: Making the Sale With only three minutes to pitch in front of real investors, we fine-tuned our presentation to be concise and impactful. The pressure was on, but it was an exhilarating experience. One major lesson I learned is that while a good pitcher identifies the problem, a great one talks about the problem, solution, market, competitors, and evidence. But the best pitchers? They weave all of that into a compelling story that resonates. I’m incredibly grateful to my mentors David Bachowski Dan Greco for their guidance also my team mates Prachi Jaiswal Nimisha Nooti Nidhi Tailor for their support. Thank you Hadar Borden for organizing an amazing event Looking forward to what’s next on this exciting journey! #Pitching #Entrepreneurship #StartupJourney #InvestorPitch #Innovation #Leadership #Storytelling #GrowthMindset

𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐚 𝟗𝟎-𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐭𝐞 𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐩𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐚 𝐂𝐄𝐎'𝐬 𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐮𝐞? Last week a client jumped on a strategic game plan call with me… Anthony Mok, CEO and Broadcast & OTT Leading Specialist, was running an 8 figure service business for over a decade and has built a solid foundation. However, during the call he recognized there was still untapped potential. He thanked me for the necessary wake-up call, realizing his money-making machine wasn't optimized to reach its full potential. Anthony always wanted to elevate his business to the next level, but he needed clarity on what to prioritize. You see most entrepreneurs already has the success recipe but they lack the right winning systems and a future-ready framework. During our conversation, I helped Anthony identify critical areas to focus on, - scaling his business such as preparing his team for global expansion, - increase productivity by preventing constant firefighting, - reducing downtime by protecting his critical systems, and - working on his business by using a dynamic dashboard to track key metrics. - and several other important issues… With this newfound focus and a practical action plan, Anthony now sees how easily he can double or even triple his revenue to over 20 million. He’s more energized and clear-headed than ever. He’s not just on the right path to making his business truly fly but ready to turn his vision into reality. "Direction, decision, and discipline—these are the keys to unlocking your business's true potential." Want a hand with your business? You know how to find me. -James “Sage” Foo #BusinessStrategy #Leadership #BroadcastBusiness #RevenueGrowth #Entrepreneurship #FocusAndPracticality
