Rental equipment……. Sigh what an issue we see these days. What is the typical mentality we see when the unit shows up and is a rental. Mentality is: “Rental means: Betcha a dollar I can break it” We need to move out of this mentality. We run equipment low on fluid, let pumps sit and run dry, but we don’t care since it’s not our asset. Half the time it hasn’t been greased in a month. Yet all the employees are like well not my fault. It’s one of the major things that irked me over the years. No one cares since it doesn’t belong to me, and I don’t have to depreciate it or fix it. “We will have that on the bigger jobs” Why? Because you don’t know common decency and treat units like you own them instead of someone else’s. I mean you wouldn’t do that to your employers equipment so why do it to someone else’s. #rental #equiptment #emergencymanagement
