Entrepreneurship is the foundation of invention, job creation and wealth generation. Successful entrepreneurs are the driving force behind new diligence, products and services that profit society in numerous ways. Starting your own business and entrepreneurship do more than just boost the economy. They spark and fue­l good changes in your community. Those making laws and investing mone­y need to recognize entrepreneurship, back it, and nurture it. Only then that we­'ll see the re­al power of business ownership for a strong e­conomy and healthier society.

New research shows business clinics boost minority entrepreneurship. Starting a business is tough. And not every founder benefits from an advanced degree like an MBA. That’s where a little coaching could help, new research shows. Some entrepreneurs are turning to business clinics – short-term training courses that last from a few weeks to a few months. Unlike a masters of business administration, these clinics focus on technical and experiential learning. Researchers from Morehouse College and the University of New Orleans surveyed 341 people in Georgia and Louisiana about their experience with this type of training and analyzed their outcomes. “The study suggests that these types of business clinics seem to help in understanding and perhaps overcoming some of the systemic barriers that are there [to entrepreneurship],” said Tiffany Bussey, executive director of the Morehouse Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center and one of the study’s co-authors. Try Entrepreneurship! TRANSFORM INNOVATIONS INTO ECONOMIC GOODS Entrepreneurship is the process by which individuals pursue opportunities without regard to the resources they currently control. The essence of entrepreneurial behavior is identifying opportunities and putting useful ideas into practice. The set of tasks called for by this behavior can be accomplished by either an individual or a group and typically requires creativity, drive, and a willingness to take risks. Entrepreneurship is the act of being an entrepreneur, which can be defined as "one who undertakes innovations, finance, and business acumen in an effort to transform innovations into economic goods."
