We purchased another home on Friday. This was a house in Kenner in need of complete renovation. The sellers were scattered around the country and didn't think they could sell the house because of it's condition. They also owed back taxes and had code enforcement liens. We solved all of their problems and turned their headache into a Merry Christmas with each of them walking away with nice chunks of money!

Time for Property TAX Protest The counties has sent evaluation of real estate properties. The prices have gone up again. Time to file for protest if you feel the evaluation is not correct. 1. Collect all of your property tax proposals. 2. Create comps for your subject property or ask realtor for comps ending 12/31/2023 3. Scan your accounts for expenses, Collect their bills. 4. Take pictures of current property, fence, settling, etc 5. Does your property need carpet replacement, any other issues that need immediate attention? Get estimates. 6. File for property tax protest. 7. Show your rent roll if the rents are undermarket. 8. If a homeless man is sleeping on property, you can take a picture and submit as a threat. 9. Changes or damages after January 1st should not be included. Anything else to add?

Our forefathers always said that you should at least have your own house and shop. But today, our mentality is being changed by so-called rich people who have created a significant amount of wealth and want to acquire even more. By misleading us, they suggest staying in a rented house instead of owning one, citing tax benefits. They argue that instead of creating wealth by paying EMIs, you can reap benefits by paying rent. We need to understand the game - today, the cost of an apartment will be equivalent to the rent of the apartment in the coming future, which will be owned by the same so-called rich people who mislead us.
