Marketers: If you were tasked with turning this around, where would you start? The facts: mid-90% occupancy to upper-70% shift is incoming. We recently spoke with a good industry friend who is dealing with this issue head on as winter approaches. On the surface it's a little perplexing. Here's what we can see: - Beautiful brand (we didn't work on this one) - Incredible location in a desirable neighborhood - Well-designed building and beautiful architecture - City views, walkable to public transit, etc. - Brand new building/product What else do we know? - A property manager not used to boutique sizes - High-end asking rents for a premium product - Reliance on only self-guided tours - Difficult to navigate website - Atypical unit layouts There is a lot going for this property. There are also a few challenges in front of it. What's your take?

Ever bumped into a website where everything feels like a Rubik's cube? 🕹️ Confusing navigation, mixed-up menus, and chaotic color schemes. Yes, my friend, that's when the x button on the tab becomes your new best friend! 😂 Well now, let's talk about the flipside - extraordinary website design. It's like stepping into a swanky new luxury hotel. ✅ Seamless navigation akin to a polished hotel concierge, ready to point you towards the pool-side spa or the rooftop lounge at the blink of an eye 👀 ✅ Aesthetically pleasing designs that are as enchanting as the chandeliers above your plush king-sized beds. A harmony of colors that are welcoming, yet sophisticated 🖌️ ✅ And the kicker? The overall ambiance that makes you feel like you're right where you ought to be, much like the personal touch in a handwritten welcome note from a 5-star retreat ✨ Now that's a website design that aligns user experience with business goals. Here's my challenge to you: Consider your own website. Does it feel more like a maze, or a 5-star retreat? What strategies can you employ to make it more of the latter? Website design isn’t just about how things look, it's about how they work! So put on your thinking caps, creative geniuses! Let's design with purpose and make the internet a better, and prettier, place. 🚀

From $500 Bucks to $303 Million: How to Price a Website Website pricing spans a wide range. But so do kitchen remodels. And I often wonder how much the CEOs who scoff at a 75k website would shell-out to get their kitchen remodeled. The average kitchen remodel runs 10k-100k. If the ROI on your kitchen remodel is better than the ROI on your business website, you should maybe just switch to real estate. Right? And while it’s hard for me to imagine getting a decent website for $500 bucks, I’ve seen it offered. Can you get a kitchen remodel for $500? I guess you could get a used appliance or two. I did a pretty decent 4 page Squarespace website for a friend for a little over 2k. But that was with 0 revisions. I’ve also built a website with a team that took a year and a quarter of a million dollars (And honestly we should have charged more). Read More at Grow Your Agency https://lnkd.in/gK74TRjU

Here are four essential tips for interior business owners to succeed and thrive in their industry: 1. Define Your Unique Value Proposition Determine what sets your interior business apart from competitors and clearly communicate your unique value proposition to potential clients. Whether it's your distinctive design style, personalized approach to client relationships, or innovative solutions to common design challenges, articulating your unique selling points will help attract clients who resonate with your brand and services. Consider what makes your business special and how you can leverage these strengths to stand out in a crowded market. 2. Cultivate a Strong Online Presence Invest in creating a professional and engaging online presence to showcase your portfolio, services, and expertise. Develop a visually appealing website that highlights your best work, incorporates client testimonials, and provides clear contact information for inquiries. Utilize social media platforms such as Instagram, Pinterest, and Houzz to share captivating images of your projects, connect with potential clients, and engage with your audience. Consistently updating your website and social media profiles with fresh content and engaging with followers will help increase visibility and attract potential clients to your interior business. 3. Prioritize Client Relationships and Communication Building strong relationships with clients is essential for the success of any interior business. Listen attentively to your clients' needs, preferences, and concerns, and strive to exceed their expectations with exceptional service and attention to detail. Keep lines of communication open throughout the design process, providing regular updates, seeking feedback, and addressing any issues promptly and professionally. By prioritizing client satisfaction and fostering positive relationships, you can build trust, loyalty, and referrals that contribute to the long-term success of your interior business. 4. Collaborate with Industry Professionals Forge strategic partnerships and collaborations with other professionals in the interior design industry, such as architects, contractors, suppliers, and home staging companies. By working together with complementary businesses, you can expand your network, tap into new client bases, and offer comprehensive solutions to clients' needs. Collaborating with trusted professionals also allows you to leverage each other's expertise, resources, and referrals, enhancing the quality and scope of your services.
