Leaders that rely on hyperbole and histrionics to persuade are not leaders at all. They are con artists. This of course includes political leaders. One of our key duties as citizens is to be sufficiently educated in our governmental and political processes, and sufficiently informed of the facts, such that we are immune to the destructive power of hyperbole and histrionics. Now is the time to accept and embrace your duty as a citizen. Reject the bunk!

MY ANSWER: A high degree of critical reasoning skills develops and builds upon innovative creativity, leading to wisdom, compounded by experience. THE QUESTION: The originality of the Founding Fathers thoughts and creativity defining their politics inspire in us both a sense of awe and an acute sense of loss. We know that they possessed political and intellectual capacities well beyond our own, and we know that we will never see their likes again. What accounts for the originality and creative genius of this singular generation of political leaders?"

In a world deeply divided by political extremes, humility shines as a path to unity. We need political leaders who remind us of the power of humility and open dialogue, leaders like Tulsi Gabbard. These leaders champion the middle ground—echoing the values of humility and mutual respect. Whether you lean left or right, the common goal of a humble America resonates louder than the noise of division. Let's prioritize humility to bridge the gaps and restore a sense of community. The leader asked, “Should I shrink myself so people are less intimidated by my size?” No. A leader never needs to shrink or hide their power. They can choose to centre in their neutrality or heart instead. I teach practices in how to sit & speak from this place. #rehearsalhallforleaders #careerstories #careeradvice #selfawareness #leadershipdevelopment

2 Classic Tactics that are often employed by politicians, media, criminals and the list goes on: Deflect and redirect: change the subject when put on the spot. Sometimes we call this gaslighting, misinformation, deception, change the “facts” to fit the narrative and outcome. Minimize harm/maximize excuse: Usually begins with, “Yeah, but…..”. Play the victim, blame the real victim, deny the extent of harm or claim it could have been worse, downplay your participation or minimize it. When this happens to you, be a Warrior and stand up and vigorously defend doing the right thing, at the right time, the right way and for the right reasons. Be a Leader, not a lemming.
