At 2 Dog Digital, community and service aren’t just words—they’re values we live by. This month, our Director of Operations, Ami DePierro, proudly represented us as she delivered donations for Toys for Tots. This effort wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible generosity of City Club Raleigh members and the leadership of Emelie Flink Patscot, their fantastic Director of Member Experience, who helped coordinate this project. As a former Marine and active member of City Club Raleigh’s philanthropy and veterans committees, Ami is proud to lead by example in giving back to the community. At 2 Dog Digital, we believe in supporting the communities we serve—whether through reliable IT or heartfelt acts of kindness. #ToysForTots #VeteranOwned #GivingBack #2DogDigital #CommunityMatters

Sounds fun…
Our Houston Area volunteers teamed up with two of our Weatherford Walks charitable partners, Small Steps Nurturing Center and PTSD Foundation Of America, and dedicated their efforts to giving back to the local community! The One Weatherford Team had a fantastic experience as they rolled up their sleeves, cleaning up classrooms at Small Steps and assisting with garden maintenance at Camp Hope. A big thank you to our volunteers who participated in these events, and to our charitable partners for hosting us. We are looking forward to Weatherford Walks 2024! #OneWeatherford #WeatherfordWalks #Community #Volunteer #GivingBack

Looking for ways to give back to your community? Here are a few….
I spent the last few days in Pennsylvania for a Marketing Strategy Meeting. Once again, I saw first-hand this credit union’s dedication to community outreach, as they’re currently managing three holiday charity projects: Toys for Tots, Angel Tree, and a donation drive for Arise Crisis Shelter of Lawrence County to assemble Christmas Eve Family Boxes. I gladly took a small donation to make sure a few kiddos at the shelter had some fun games for Christmas. What’s even more impactful is Branch Manager Lisa Magee's collaboration with Arise to offer financial education workshops. These sessions will empower women in the shelter, as well as those transitioning out, with the tools and knowledge they need to build financial independence. A big shoutout to GNC Community Federal Credit Union CEO Julia G. and her incredible team - Cheri Sabino, CCUFC, Lisa Magee and Renae Colaizzi - for their unwavering commitment to making a big difference in their community! #PeopleHelpingPeople #CreditUnionDifference #CreditUnions #CommunityOutreach

Today we launched a new self help tool for people facing family violence - a Home of Your Own. It's about understanding your rights, and taking action. We know that family violence is a leading cause of housing insecurity for women and children, who represent three-quarters of people accessing homelessness services. We also know the numbers of people at risk continues to grow and that the impact of violence and homelessness radiates out into the community. This tool was co-designed with women who've lived experience of family violence and homelessness, together with frontline community workers. By answering a few anonymous questions about their situation, renters facing family violence can learn about their rights, and be directly supported to take practical steps in maintaining or accessing safe housing, including by creating personalised documents to communicate with their rental providers. Please share with anyone who might need it.
📢 Introducing Home of Your Own: our new, free, self-help tool for people facing family violence to understand their rights and take early, preventative action to safely avoid homelessness. 🏠 Co-designed alongside women with lived experience of family violence, Victorian renters can answer a few anonymous questions to learn about their options to safely: 🔐 Stay in a rental 👜 Leave a rental, and 🌱 Get a new rental home ➡️ Use Home of Your Own: https://lnkd.in/g7FZgn-8 Justice Connect is grateful for the visionary support of ERDI Foundation, Lord Mayor's Charitable Foundation and Victorian Legal Services Board and Commissioner in making Home of Your Own possible 🤝

"No one has ever become poor by giving" - Anne Frank At PIMCon I heard many talk about how the relationship between a business and the community is symbiotic. Truly they play a MAJOR role in the success and well-being of each other. Not only if it done correctly will it drive economic growth, but it can also enhance the quality of life for everyone involved. For example: Mike Morse - 🎒 Mike realized there was an overwhelming need for backpacks and supplies for the Detroit Public School students. He took on that mission and as of last year over 300,000 backpacks were donated to Michigan students. 🐶😻 Mike hosts Meet Your Best Friend event, where not only does he host the event two times a year and donates to the Michigan Humane, but he also pays for pets to be shown on local TV and will pay for those featured pets adoption fees! 👨⚖️ Mike has also stepped out of his comfort zone (Personal Injury) into criminal defense to help free Michael Anthony Griffin, a man who had spent over 13 years in prison for a crime he did not commit. David L. Thomas, MBA - 🏍 David and his team believe in boots on the ground with big and small events for their communities. They get in front of their audience with these events, and pull their members into building the community around these charities need/want. When businesses invest in their communities they improve the environment they operate in. In turn, these improvements lead to a better quality of life for their residents. It is about understanding the community's need, supporting the local causes, and contributing to a shared vision. This builds trust, loyalty, and long term relationships. Here is a few of those events & one I participated in with my former STL team. https://lnkd.in/g3gts7mM https://lnkd.in/gRRYi39x https://lnkd.in/gn8M9NPK https://lnkd.in/gRkcAJai https://shpbeds.org/ #Community #AllTogether

Coming Together as a Community: A Story of Generosity and Impact In every community, there are stories that remind us of the incredible power of kindness and collaboration. One such story comes from our teammate Brian Salisbury supporting Ralph “The Shoe Guy,” who work hard together with many others in our community to collect and donate shoes each year for the Syracuse Rescue Mission. This year they collected 43,120 pairs of shoes. This achievement is more than just a number—it’s a testament to what can happen when individuals step up to address critical needs. The Syracuse Rescue Mission serves as a lifeline for many, providing support to individuals and families facing tough times. Shoes, something many of us take for granted, can make a world of difference, especially during harsh winters. Through the hard work and dedication of Brian and Ralph, thousands of people now have access to this essential resource. This story is a powerful reminder that each of us has the ability to make an impact. Whether through donating, volunteering, or organizing efforts in our own neighborhoods, we can all play a role in creating positive change. It doesn’t take monumental resources—it takes heart, purpose, and a willingness to come together as a community. Let’s be inspired by Brian and Ralph’s example and think about how we can contribute to the well-being of those around us. Small actions, when multiplied by many, can lead to extraordinary results. Thank you to everyone who played a part in this incredible effort. Your generosity and teamwork show what’s possible when we lead with compassion. #CommunityImpact #GivingBack #SyracuseRescueMission #110metalworks #KindnessInAction

How are you planning to give back to your community this holiday season?
I'd like to invite everyone in the events industry to intentionally look for ways to do good within their communities this holiday season. This industry can take a lot out of you, but it is also filled with some of the biggest hearts I've ever seen. We started our Holiday Giveback Program 4 years ago as a way to channel all of that potential for good into our local communities. This year I'd like to challenge my peers and friends in the events industry to participate as well, by finding little ways to help the people around you and in your community. Our team members put on their creative caps every year and every year I'm blown away by their examples of kindness and how they go above and beyond to find new ways to help others. Weather it's rounding up items for donation to local youth shelters, giving the money to local families going through hard times, buying gifts for holiday drives, donating to animal shelters or event just giving someone an extra special tip on their meal, these acts of kindness warm my heart and are the essence of the holiday season. If you're ready to get started, but don't know where to start you can check out some awesome examples of things my team has done in the past (https://lnkd.in/g5jkS7Dm). Otherwise, I wish you luck in your endeavors to do more good for those around you and I would love to hear about what you come up with!
