From the course: What Is Generative AI?
What's new?
- Hello, friends. Great to see you all. I am back because we're updating our course to bring you the latest and the greatest of generative AI. My first LinkedIn course, this one, What is Generative AI was published back in March, 2023. It was watched by millions and translated to six different languages. Thank you all. This really makes me blush. Thank you. It has also been almost a year and a half since it was recorded. If we count effect that a day is equal to a year in AI research, this means that it has come time for us to update our knowledge base. That's why we're adding an additional four videos that you'll find under the chapter Working With Generative AI. If we were to summarize in short, the most important developments in generative AI in the past year would be the following. First one, generative AI left the initial hype and demo tool status and started entering professional workflows for meaningful adoption. The second, thanks to the rise in computation and cloud integration solutions, generative AI tools became universally adopted. And as third, as humans the more we understood that generative AI is simply a tool in the service of us humans, the more we left the initial fear and skepticism reaction and started exercising conscious contemplations. This made us start developing legal frameworks to make it part of our creative and production toolbox officially. All right, then let's jump right into it.
