- [Rick] In this video, I'll demonstrate how to configure high availability in vSphere. And one of the important things that I want to make very clear right up front is what we're going to do in this demo is I'm going to create an HA cluster. And so this is not going to be vCenter High Availability, this is a completely different feature than vCenter High Availability. vSphere High Availability is going to provide high availability for my virtual machines that are running on my ESXI hosts. We're going to create an HA cluster that includes multiple ESXI hosts, and High Availability will reboot those virtual machines in the event of a host failure. So, let's set this up. I'm going to pick my little folder here that contains my ESXI hosts. I'll right click that, and I'm going to choose New Cluster, and I'm just going to call this TrainerTestsHACluster.
