Recording better audio on a mobile device
- You know, it seems like when you want to get good audio this works really well when it's about here. - [Robbie] Yeah. - The rest of the time not so much. - Yeah, you know, when it comes to iOS devices or Android devices, tablets, phones, things of that nature they're not really setup to capture great audio. Sure the camera's are pretty good. They can take nice still photos. But you never see Apple or Samsung, or anybody going, well this phone has the best audio recording in it's class. The iPhone 9, now with stereophonic sound. - Right. - No. You don't hear that. So it's pretty cool that we can use these devices with a kit like this, like the iOgrapher. But you have to have some level of adapting audio and video, and things of that nature. And fortunately there's lots of options available now. - Yeah, essentially these devices have two ports. Usually one on one side where you plug in a headphone or a microphone, then another one where the power or the accessories go. - [Robbie] Yep.…
