Summarizing your findings

- Once everything is sorted, you still need to synthesize the data into actionable takeaways. Having just a list of general user goals or motivations doesn't necessarily tell you and your team what to do next. You'll want to look at each finding and discuss what it means for the team. You'll want to ask questions like: What opportunities to improve or offer new experience exist? How could those opportunities be tied to business goals? You don't need to define solutions right away, but you want to end up with a list of actions to take next. For instance, you may learn that your applications onboarding process is lacking, and action items are to do a detailed usability test and to brainstorm compelling ways to move users from sign up to first action.
